FOW didn't foresee that so many normies would react negativity to this before the game was even released, so they quickly clamored for a solution, but chose a bad one instead.

People just like different stuff. Its a horrible feeling seeing a waifu getting fucked by someone or something with no way to avoid/prevent it. Or knowing that is happening in the background.

It's the shoehorning in of the content into the story without the player getting a choice on it and as NBV mentioned above, it's just a bad solution (using this term loosely) as locking the scenes behind pandora doesn't solve anything if they still have people talking about it happening in dialogue and describing it in the codex, lol.

Thing is I haven't seen anyone here proposing making it unavailable for other people if they want it, only stating they'd like an option which is a pretty reasonable stance on something, yet we've got a couple ppl here (the usual suspects) issuing personal attacks, gaslighting and in some cases outright lying about the presence of the content in an effort to misinform and trick new users into thinking the game has different content than it has.

Who lie about the content of the game? Quite a difference to tell people what you want to see is optional, because it depend on you as the player unlock the scenes to watch or not, and to tell people there is no such content at all.

Please tell me where in the game do you get that content right in your face without you select to do so?

And a big thank you to those of you who have been nice enough to share information on the game regarding the beast stuff, especially the screenshots a few posts back. Even if it's just conversations and an encyclopedia entry, I am just not okay with that. I've spent some time just going through the last 10-15 pages and I'm grateful for the time you all have taken to just make sure people know what the real deal is with this since it does appear there are a few people intentionally misleading others on the content. I will try to keep watching this thread for new information on the off chance that the developer changes any of it.

We are actually interested in the game, but we have a problem with a small part of the game. The unavoidable ntr stuff with the xenos.
And we were just hoping that at some point the devs will make it completely avoidable.And that we will keep an eye on the game.

Everyone here obviously has some interest in the game or they wouldn't be here. And as has been noted repeatedly in this thread, the game is in very early access, which means things can and will change in it as we move forward. Some of us hope these items with the xeno might have some options put in down the road to let us opt out regarding dialogue / codex / etc., but we also recognize that it's possible, and probably likely, that they won't. And if it doesn't change, then I can accept that because it's not like I've bought the game to this point for this exact reason. I'm not out anything, but I also don't see anything wrong with people voicing their opinion.

While this is a high seas site, one of the members here is a moderator, or possibly a former moderator (I don't know and don't want to mis-quote) for Studio FOW, so I don't doubt for a second that some of the common praises and criticisms here are at least relayed to the Studio. If I was a developer I'd want to know what people liked and disliked about the product I made and when a number of users are openly letting it be known that they would be interested in buying the product if some specific options were put into the game that would at least be worthwhile information to have and consider, even if they decide not to act on it. And like I said before, if this is just their set-in-stone vision for the game, then that's okay, I support their freedom of creativity; as a consumer I can simply choose to not ever buy the game if that's case, like others have already stated will be the route they go as well.

During your digging on those boards, did they comment anywhere about whether or not they would consider putting choices / options in to avoid the dialogue and codex entries (and future events if there are any) that currently canonize the fact that Lily has sex with the monsters? A number of ppl have expressed concerns with this.
