I think about 70% of NTR discussions on this site are about the ''missing'' ntr tag and whether it should be on the game or not. Sometimes you think you found something you like and then you start playing it and...surprise motherfucker or you already playing a game you like for a while but then author decides to ''spice things up''... I wanna say that there's different situations and sometimes people's anger is understandable. You can follow you own advice and ignore these comments why even pay attention to something you don't like.

Yeah but that applies to a whole range of fetishes. You can start play a game, and then SURPRISE, the creator throw a monkey wrench into your fun. But it's their creation to do with as they please. It doesn't have to be suddenly NTR, but can be suddenly RAPE, or whatever else some doesn't want to deal with.

Majority of threads where ntr come up is people asking for ntr in a game that doesn't have it. Or people go into a thread where it says ntr in the tags already, and then ask NTR? fuck this game or applies ntr to something that isn't ntr at all. All the females in the game not entire exclusive to you? NTR ALERT, like.. wtf? Female character use a beast as a sex toy? NTR DRAMA ALERT. It's stupid, its like accuse your wife of cheating if she got a rabbit in her nightstand.

My game isn't starting anymore, I dowloaded 0.3.0 vers. and add my 0.1.6 on top of it to keep my save, as I couldn't find where it was located, and now each time I start it, I have a black screen with an error message :

"Plugin 'OnlineSubsystemGOG' failed to load because module 'OnlineSubsystemGOG' could not be found. please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project."

I've tired to download an OnlineSubsystemGOG.plugin file and put it in main game folder, or in the plugin folder, but it doesn't work either.

Come someone help me ? I don't understand what's wrong here :x

Your save files is not in your game folder at all... If you added the old 0.1.6 over the 0.3.0 you just ended up with a out dated bastard version that wont work with anything.

Save files is stored in Appdata/Local/Subverse/ and is NOT remove if you delete or uninstall the game. They only get deleted if you do so manually, or you wipe windows drive.

People argue about if its NTR or not. instead of telling us how to unlock the locked scenes if there is a way.( i am talking about the ones that won't show you how much they cost even tho i got spare points to use. it still locked)

Create the new mantics in the lab, and you can unlock the scenes. Like,, just play the game...

It is actually a main problem of big ntr controversy.
Basically, there are two types of people. Those who can get turned on and get off by any sexual act just because of it. They don't necessarily have to be inserted in the process. But there are also those (including me) who just need to associate themself with the subject who involved in the fictional sexual act to even care about it not to mention enjoy it. My head just don't work other way. When Im playing the porn game I don't choose to insert myself into it or not, it just happens because this is the only way I can get something from it.
These 2 types of people keep arguing about ntr for years and just can't understand each other and probably never will because they're just thinking different ways.

Man that sucks, atleast for porn I am pretty happy that it doesn't work like that for me. For me the Captain even tho being the main character is just another character like the rest especially in porn.
I hope it doesn't hinder your enjoyment too much in other games.

That's a big oof honestly, considering how fucked up many of the most popular fetishes are. This really doesn't explain why ntr is supposed to be the worst of the bunch.

The default game has DRM because its sold on steam at the moment
So you need a way to spoof the authentication for "i own this on steam"
hence the need for a crack

Looking at the chancelogs, they didn't overhaul anything right? Just more of the same? No plot integrated sex scenes, no depth to grid or space combat, etc etc? Oh well, I didn't really expect them to make big changes anyways. I wonder how many of the backers found the game satisfying.

And there’s that 2-3 pages of back and forth about NTR as predicted. Also can we not attack folks for their positive opinions? If you don’t like it fine, but you don’t need to go off on those who are genuinely enjoying it.

On another note, to address the comments I see regarding FOW’s movies: they have every intention to make films again. From their FAQ on Kickstarter:

We’ve already improved so much from 6 months ago, and we feel that we will improve even more during the development of Subverse. This will make sure we avoid the dreaded “first-year syndrome” that plagues 3DCG artists who are still learning a new engine.
Case in point - compare Lara in Trouble (2014) to Kunoichi 3 (2018), which was done in the same engine. The difference due to experience is vast. The experience we gain on the game, while the programmers are able help us with a lot of the toughest tasks, will translate into much higher quality movies.

You can think of subverse as their training wheels, as all of their future films will be done in Unreal 4, which will significantly better than their SFM productions. Subverse also is their own original IP, which is a good fallback should they ever run into problems with companies that don’t understand how parody and fair use work (which is many if not all of them).

and if the next question is ‘well why don’t they just make Subverse movies’ who’s to say they won’t? But it definitely didn’t hurt them to try something new, as the game brought them a lot more attention and fans that may not have seen their films.

now back to the bickering over budgets, NTR philosophy, and games that supposedly do it better but are really just the same kind of loops with text to read.

it was stated the Pandora system would be getting an overhaul, but not til after this update.

given how quiet the comment sections been on KS, and overall feedback I see in discord, it’s pretty minor. Most of the negativity was crying over the initial early access cancellation.

It is understandable too. People just using ntr when talking about any jealousy related antikinks. And you'll be surprised but for me there's really no difference in bad feelings when I experience the canon ntr event or just playing some game and then one of the sex interests suddenly ''uses some beast as a sex toy'' Maybe it is stupid but as I wrote above its just how my head works. And instead of calling people who think differently stupid just try to understand them next time.

It's the entire drama thing I think is stupid. If you run into something you don't like at all, then just find something else to do. Another thing is, all these scenes is optional to unlock in the game. Pandora is like pick your poison and go with it, or just walk by. It's like know there is a big hole in the road, then run your car into it and then complain there is a hole in the road...
