They just don't know real quality. I argued with some idiot yesterday because he got mad that I called their animation work sub-par.
If you use UUU to unlock the scenes it's a hot mess outside the fixed angle. Just completely so lazy with their animating that none of those scenes can be reused without them going back and reworking them entirely. The dude even said their movies were top tier. Their movies are some of the worst animations I've ever seen if I'm being honest.
They get lots of money and they half ass the work just like they did when they weren't getting lots of money. The money was supposed to increase the quality and it looks like they're just taking the piss.
Some of the new animations in focus of the camera have obvious clipping and some of the worst jiggle physics I've seen in a long time. Only a noob in our world that hasn't experienced noname55, ellowas, Hydra and so many other high quality artists think studiofows work is good.
It is amateur level at best.

How many new scenes are there from initial release? Last time I played, i remember there's like 10 or so scenes, some being very short snippets/clips, and others being longer multistage scenes
oh, and to the others who have seen the gallery already, is the dl worth it? The initial release had very few scenes iirc

Just go to to rule34 hentai and you can view each new scene. None of them are worth the downloads as they didn't improve on anything.

Well, people that just after a free lunch not so interested in read the menu after all. Or in regard of Subverse, not so much even play the game, just watch the scenes in Pandora that as whole is a small part of the actual game.
the side quests are boring. So much dialogue are wasted on the lame humor and forgettable NPCs. how about they take some of those sex scenes from pandora and make them unlockable through Side Quests. That way we'll get context, and information about the girl's history, kinks etc. through visual novel type dialogue.
an unlockable Mantic scene with Fortune could be like
pick the side quest node > an intro dialogue with Fortune and aliens > Ground fight/Space Battle > Win > dialogue where Lili creates a new mantic then convinces Fortune to play with it > mantic sex starts
edit: i see no reason why this format couldn't be applied to vanilla scenes. it doesnt have to be exclusive to mantics. Since the team made an effort to categorize each scene, couldn't there be a system to warn you about an incoming one you dont want to see?

I don't think its that wild to imagine that there's people that are in fact happy to see an adult game that is actually a game.

The whole purpose of Pandora is for players to unlock what scenes that tickles their interest. And you need to do the side quests to earn enough points to unlock these. They don't want to include things in the story progression that would make people upset and cry. Like those poor victims of ntr and such...

Hush now, we can't have you making perfectly reasonable and realistic suggestions about the game that the studio will just brush off and pretend like people only wanted "a REAL game with some porn on the side (TM)".
EDIT: For the people saying doing so will make the mantic scenes too tied to the story and the NTR crowd will lose their shit - the OP literally said SIDE quests, not the main story.
