Unreal Engine Completed Subverse [v1.2.01 DLC] [Studio Fow]

I have the base game on steam but due to the stupid laws of the uk I can no longer get the DLC (or even view it for that matter, I refuse to get a credit card just to age verify) is there anyway to download the DLC and play off my base steam?

There should be but, I wouldn't risk it.
There are work arounds tho. (I do that the whole time in Germany). Open a 2nd acc location set to well somewhere else, I choose Canada, not sure if needed but I VPN'd to Canada too, now I just log into that account and gift my main acc the games I want

Else if you just want to play the DLC with your saves you can copy your saves into the folder thats mentioned when you download the game here.

Edit: I should clarify to not try to activate a non baught DLC on your bought game on Steam. But gifting yourself stuff, is 99% fine, (there's obviously a small risk but am doing it for years now, even with a German credit card lol)

Then I created the folder with the exact qoutes from the txt. But it still doesnt work like its supposed to. I even changed it into a sav. file etc...could there be an interference because of Onedrive. Because my document link looks like this: C:\Users\name\OneDrive\Dokumente\Steam\RUNE\1034140\remote

Yeah OneDrive is wrong. Maybe its different on Win11 if you using that?
Welp the easiest way would be to start the game, start a new game, so it creates a save and then search for the folder again.

Thanks for the help. Got it working now. Used Voidtools to find out where the real save folder is located. And yes I am on WIN 11 and Onedrive kinda interfered with it. Now everything is working and I can finally see what has been added since my last Visit to Subverse. Excited for it now, hehe. My cutsie girly mind cant get enough ghehe

New Year's message from FOW Discord, It seems like the next project will be smaller, and I don't think they'll be doing a Kickstarter for Subverse 2 or anything on that scale.

Dunno why anyone would think they’d do another game anytime soon with the massive amount of time they put into this. With the extra unplanned content, this was 6 years of their lives put into it.

Hopefully they can lock down that payment processor, get their product available properly worldwide and get the income from the countries that have been waiting to support them. China was a big one, as there was a lot of initial support during the campaign but a lot of card cancellations because of their countries laws.

Im sorry but am I missing something? Why are you not just downloading the game from here? the cracked version seems to include the DLC (at least i think it does unless the 30 celestina pandora scenes are not the DLC?)

no i get that but you already paid for the game right? like you already did your good deed of giving studio FOW money so why not now download the cracked version to save yourself the hassle?

Wall clock vs monotonic vs distributed time. What breaks if you pick the wrong one?


Principal-level (L4):
When is a value you wrote guaranteed to be visible to another thread?
Answer in terms of memory models and synchronization, not “immediately”.


Research / architect-level (L5):
If a system fails in production, where does responsibility usually lie?
The code, the spec, or the assumptions/model the system was built on?

Well, at least the "Studio 69" DLC still should be released for the kickstarter backers, but after that who knows...
In the latest update with Celestina they teased a continuation of the story, but their latest message contradicts it.
