trying to download but opera keeps saying virus detected and cancelling the download, any tips?

if Opera is anything like Brave (theyre both Chromium, so most likely), youre better off downloading it in another browser like Firefox as I couldn't disable the browsers security measures that were blocking the file.

Ok, jokes aside i managed to turn off protection in google chrome to download this otherwise it doesnt allow you, but I cannot run the game, im getting error 0xc0000906 and then system auto deletes that crack .dll file. And i dunno what else to turn off in win10 either, it just doesnt like that file.

Whitelist a folder in Windows Defender before extracting the game files to that folder
I wonder if we'll be getting their next game by this year, their latest post seems to be focused on UI and menus.
i know yall gonna say to read the note above on first page about how its just a false flag but i just got 8 different viruses when downloading the game, which is a first for me. specifically the highest threat being (HackTool:win32/Injector!rfn)
im also getting reports that this Mai@KF.dll is a dangerous threat

So my Norton anti virus detected Mai@KF.dll and I tried to restore and exclude it after deleting some copies of it in quarantine and now it won't extract and I can't move it to a folder without admin permission also it is still detected as a threat. Can someone help?
yh its wierd and ive just left the application on with the viruses on but nothing extreme has happened to my computer only 3 Norton popups that never appeared before are now appearing so yh thats seems to be all there is rn on my end

(HackTool:win32/Injector!rfn) isnt a virus, at least on its own it isn't. Pretty much every AV with heuristic capabilities will flag cracked software as "hackTool" or "win32/injector" if its using a crack file and not a direct modification of the .exe or registry. Mai@KF.dll is the crack needed to run the game so it gets flagged as an injector or hacktool.

Might be an idiot, but the mega download version says that the patch installer needs the steam version to work. The hell?

You don't need to use to execute the patch, the game is already patched.
