Huh what a strange forum
On one end you have a loon screaming about an artist shift in an medium where lead indy devs sometimes have to think quick on their feet to make sure a project runs smoothly and not run into a screeching halt because they were hit with an unforseen roadblock.
On the other you have loons mauling that loon ruthlessly with little lack of self awareness.
What a treat. Whose placing bets on the winner of the next fight?

After playing "Warlock Saga" I'm starting to belive than more than one was trying to summon succubus at they will and they fail
Zion, if you don't mind, can you tell us when it will be finished?
Will it still take as long as usual or - since it's the final part - will it be faster?

Why not? A low angle view with the balls and penis can look super hot and I don't mind male butts if done correctly and good.
Oof, does that mean the generals will get 3 scenes? You always treated them special.
It's about time he does that and perhaps the mods are willing to do something. Usually they are not that slow when they delete posts from me.
Latest build was released at November 30, so let's say December 1. Don't expect a new one until March, there's quite a bit of work on the table.
After lurking in this thread for a while and playing the latest chapter I decided to post some of my opinions about the game. I want to preface this by saying that I really love the premise of the game and the worldbuilding/lore Zion has managed to construct and that I want to see this series live up to its full potential, and that is the place this criticism is coming from. Hopefully Zion and others in this thread can take it with the constructive spirit in which it is meant, as I did my best to not just go "this thing sucks" but to explain why some aspects are underwhelming and offer some (imo) reasonable solutions.
I understand some of these might be hard to retrofit on an almost finished game, but hopefully Zion can keep them in mind when working on the next games in the series.
Lastly, before a bunch of people jump on me saying "the porn is good, if you want to beat it to the tiles or to the combat mechanics that's your business", let me remind you that Zion explicitly state he wants this game to be "a good game with porn" rather than just be content with "a good porn game", and these are defenitely thing to keep in mind if you're trying to make a good game.

indeed plus arts from ch1 to 3 are in pieces with details (eg energy drain, mc dry, an extra view(front side back view) .ch4 arts plainMost of what this guy replied with pretty much avoided/missunderstood everything i said. We constantly switch from amazing to awful. It's a inconsistent mess. You expect a game to get better as you progress, here the opposite happens. Maybe this is not important, but this + downgraded scenes + many other factors = pretty fucking important if u ask me.
* You literally said f95zone members opinions are irrelevant, even though zion talks here & reads reviews consistently. (Avoiding criticism, only positive reviews are liked by him. Check it yourself.) F95zone in general is a forum where it's only purpose is to debate and critique, it's also the biggest source of income for zion since most come from here and at the end of the day we're all human being with equal opinions.
Also if you're saying only patreons opinions relevant and we ignore all of what i said, then that contradicts
* The animations were removed because they took 8 months & were too difficult to implement to every scene. I'm not specifically complaining about that, the community accepted it but at the very least expected the way simpler non animated scenes to continue, instead they make it worse + less pngs + more factors which is a heavy downgrade.
* Zion blocked me, that's completely fine and I wish zion the best of luck! I hope the game gets better for everyones sake.

No wonder Zion has to reduce communication here. Some of you guys don't read.^^ The original Artist, Kain, won't come back. Period, end of discussion.
cause we though animations is only problem cant help then but the rest will remain same that what everyone will think
or more (zion say he a bit greeedy)(more arts or some things more that what everyone will think)
without animation a new chapter in 5 4 moths with same amount of arts or more
turn out arts are reduced & less detailed as artist is expensive cant help then

I really like this one, thank you for taking your time to write this!
-Equipment: I tried to make equipment vary accordingly with the race, but also simple enough that a person could just equip them without too much complexity. For example:
*Angelic Relic: +HP and Magical Attack (Angels are know to have high vitality and great magical reserves)
*Demonic Relic: +Attack (Demons are extremely aggressive and focused on attack)
*Dwarven Relic: +Magical Defense (Dwarven could nullify magic)
*Elven Relic: +Defense (They were know to create protective runes, having Magisters seeking their runes to put on their armor their entire lives)
I try to vary a bit with the relics, but they turned up too OP lol
It's hard to balance a game.
-Dungeons: I'll try to make something new with the dungeons. It just takes time for you to get the right idea, you know what I mean? Developing good dungeons/areas takes time, I like to think that I'm learning as time goes by and with each release.
-Maps: Same problem as above. I'll try to vary them more. I think chapter 5 will be a blast when it comes to this, since each area will reflect the season of the succubus.
+ I like to make more about what it fits the lore, even if it does get a little boring.
In this latest chapter, although the main area is same-y, I try to vary its surroundings and optional areas like rain and fog.

Hello Zion i am curious if its possible to meet the good natured succubus Imp girl and Cow Succubus again? is it possible for them to be a potential lover/familiar and bond with them?

It's possible to meet more of them. As romance, no. An Imp would be a big maybe, but I have no plans for any right now.
Well, there's already a few scenes that could have improved upon this in SC, like the one with the kitsune or the sex scene in the prologue; but with the way that the art is going, I doubt if it'll we'll get an detailed view of the men enjoying the last minutes of their lives anytime soon.Why not? But it's not exactly an cheap move, in my opinion, to keep the men featureless, mostly because that effort is going towards something more important (hopefully Zion doesn't run out of plants to model the Leaf Clan on) and we're already seeing the cutbacks with the NPCs that hardly anyone cares about. Plus, there's also the case of Zion is kind of pushing the envelope by adding even more sex scenes in the next game.
Although, it would be nice if Aeolos was an little bit more detailed, but it's either him or the sex demon of the week, in this case. But personally, I care more about the women than the men when it comes to porn.

As I said before it's ok if they last for an entire dungeon until they get nuked by fresh runes but as OP as they are right now they can cover the player for two dungeons which is just too much.^^ Optional rewards, if you did good, are ok but maybe you can change them a bit like having a small HP or Mana regen every turn and take some stats from them.
It's a tough choice. On one hand you don't want to spend too much time on optional dungeons and at the same time it's easy to copy and paste them. Maybe you can play some more with the available RPG Maker assets or even get additional ones for the future. I don't mind the similar look because I'm there to get my buffs and get out asap, not to seek the main story there.^^
So far I think you had a good variety with the story dungeons. The land of the tribes is a giant forest, you can only do so much with it and giving it a corrupted look due to the Succubus was a good idea. I'm sure people will get pleased if we can enter the cities and the land where they are located. Too much wood, that's all.
What good would that be? I'm happy if we get a decent portrait of the people who get killed (like with the scene between the queen and the resistance guy who got drained or the other guys who were killed by the queen's generals) but I don't need to see their faces or entire body during the rape scene.
Yes, it would be a bit over the top to give those NPCs so much attention and do smaller steps on the main guys to keep the deadlines. Ofc the quality standards must be kept, I can't tolerate a massive drop there just to keep the deadlines. If Zion needs one or two more months from time to time he can have them as long as he stays true to his vision.
I agree, the new portrait of him with more armor looks a bit less detailed. Would be nice to have that fixed at some point. When I play someone for 20 chapters I would like to have a pleasant time with that person.
I'll be honest: I don't get the complaints about the chapter 4 art.
I find Aeolos' extra armor pretty cool, for example.

The armor upgrade is good, but I think most people don't like it because the style is more "cartoon-y"
Personnally I don't care which style the game have as long as the game is good/interesting, I played Monster Girl Quest, after all
Oh i really would like to see the imp again, maybe evolved with our mana.
