The only part of the game that won't let you save is the prologue.
About the key configurations, are you using an old save?

So I managed to fix the save issue by deleting everything in www->save folder. The save works perfectly!!

This update is HUGE, I can't say it yet, because I, myself, have no idea.
There will be lots of girls and scenes, a huge area to explore, more lore to write, the story, play testing...

Not to mention that this chapter won't have a "demo", which will make it feel like it's even longer...

Yes, there will be a recollection room in the second chapter where you can battle the succubus you have previously fought again.

How long til I get freedom to do anything? There's a shit ton of dialog with saves in between. I am asked to save my game between dialog there is so much of it. When do I get do stuff? Aside from that, the game looks nice.

You can skip all that dialogue by skipping the prologue just so you know.

What Sub said. If you are not interested in the story, just skip the prologue. And after the game is finished you can just go to the recollection room and unlock everything without even touching the story line.

It would be sad. The story of this game is pretty good and the universe is subtle and coherent. Just rushing like that...

Thanks, friend!!! But in the end I can't force anyone to play the story line, Those who wish an RPG with story, choices, stats will get this. Those who only wish the h-scenes will also get it as well.

I don't like skipping prologues, I just didn't expect it to have mid prologue saves for how long it was

Yes, there will be. The romance options, for example. Once you completed their quests you will unlock their hentai scene. Other scenes story locked will also be included in the game.

Hard to say, but I think end of February might be a safe bet. Once I finish the game I'll send to the animator and finally I will need to play test everything. This chapter is bigger than the first one, so we will need more time.
