finished the prologue without saving, and once finished restart the game by skipping the prologue, you can save again in the game, this is a bug that will be fixed in the final version with the release of chapter 5
Zion of Olympus How you been man? Question: I understand that there have been characters who have been trying to investigate and research the "drain" of succubi to counter them. Without any spoilers, is their "research" a complete waste of time? Simply put, I want to know if science can actually prove to be an effective countermeasure against them and their magic. Please don't pull convenient nonsense or fanservice lol. I can tell you put some serious thought into this story and plot, so I'm hoping for a realistic answer based on this story's premise despite the fact that we all know what it is.

Yes, it's a waste of time for them. They will spend years just to find out that this is the way things are and will never change.
Even if you could nullify magic, the succubus would just starve to death, being reborn into hell.
It's useless.
The better way to counter any demon, is to find a way to cause a massive amount of damage, where they will spend a literal eternity to come back.
Is there no way to like completely destroy a succubus a way that they won't be able to be reborn(ed) in hell?

Both angels and demons are a bit scared of such technology because it could eventually be turned against them, too.
And humanity is just too primitive to even consider doing that.
More the fools they for underestimating us humans. Primitive does not mean we aren't creative and devious... Soon they both will learn to serve the glory of HOMO SAPIENS!

Excuse me guys, what is the location of succubus number 4 and succubus number 18?
The 4th succubus is in a wooden house in the first area of the game(The one where you fight the lesser leaf succubi, the daisy succubus, etc,) I think it was to the left so just stick to the left hand side of the map and you should be able to find it.
The 18th succubus is in the same place that you fought the fox, mist, mushroom succubus, And i THINK the path to her was at the right side of the start of the area. If she's NOT there, Just stick to the right of the map and keep going up until you find the path.
Is that like something only the (White haired) MC at the start of the game can do? And that's why they're using him to research his ancestors? to be able to find out how he has such an ability and make a weapon out of it? And if so, Will they succeed? Or will the (White haired) MC become their super weapon?
Sorry for this many question being thrown at you guys all at once, I'm just really curious.

They want someone who had past experiences with hellish invasions, so they can search for weapons that could be effective, and not outright kill demons.
The scientists don't know what they will find, but for them is better than nothing, since the energy drain they are fighting is not the common drain from the normal succubus, through sex, but a wave of dark energy that envelops the entire world, Darth Nihilus style, from the Void Clan.
So, yeah, they need all info they can get.

Btw i think you should put this under spoiler, Since it kinda of spoils what is happening in the current time and the games haven't reached that far.

I replied to this a few times now. And it would avoid making people think that a futuristic and powerful world is having through with the normal energy drain through sex, even though they have power armor and all lol
Zion of Olympus You know, maybe not in this game, but in a future one it might be interesting to explore the idea of a succubus that tries to deny her nature and live in harmony with humans. Maybe even try to find a way to remove the darkness within herself so she can safely find the companionship and love that she envies in humans, and get rid of the never ending hunger. As the quest progresses, we get to witness her build up hope of success only to have it ripped away as she finally comes to terms with the tragic fact that she will never find her salvation. It would be an interesting change to the villian redemption arc and you give the player the choice of just killing her, or taking her back to the angels so they can experiment on so they can experiment to see if she can be permanently destroyed. Or something like that.

I'm sorry, but that's not going to happen. I have tons of projects, and this idea would just be wasted time for me as it doesn't fit the lore at all.
The best example of succubi who turned their back on Hellish behavior are the Lunar Clan, who are pretty grey with their morality, but still have to kill humans to survive.
Example:
Almost every point you made makes no sense, like "she trying to remove the darkness from her".
If a succubus remove her "darkness", which is her body that was given by hell itself, she'll go back at being a formless, but sentient, spirit.
Elves have one in their forehead. A spirit bound to them so they don't need to worry about being pulled to heaven or hell.
Fair enough. I originally was trying to do a play on the Lunar Clan but I guess my idea got away from me. Ah well let it never be said that I'm smart. Sorry for bothering you.
