We're almost halfway thru December and no Chapter 5. What's the excuse going to be this time:

- Dog pissed on computer. All files lost.
- Uncle Elmer's goldfish had a sex change operation. Need to take off six months to help facilitate transition.
- Artist broke hand/arm playing badminton. It takes 3 years to recover.
- Add your own excuse!

Cherrypicking these games shouldn't be used as a basis for estimating the time it takes to create a game in that engine. I was around 14 when I played with RPG Maker, and I'm confident that it doesnt take that much time. It's an engine made for babies. He doesnt do the art, the writing is at best AI tier, gameplay sux dick, so does the linear map design. A while ago he removed the lesser succubi because he wasn't able to implement the """animation""" to each of them.

I really don't get why you defend this. You can like this game all you want but he is a bad dev who can't take criticsm and only just commented in this thread when the 'abandoned' tag was added, perhaps out of concern that it might reduce his Patreon support.

Okey... Maybe it explain why take so long to develop Ch.5. The game hasn't been abandoned, just a "big project" that needs years to complete. People who complain "it take so long" are because they haven't made a game in RPG Maker MZ so they don't understand it may take 5-10 years to make a RPG game. Counting from the year SC released, 2021, 2 years are actually not enough to develop a full RPG game.

Not abandoned, the game is still under development, but Just wish it's not going to be another "The Day Before". That Really scare people bro. Be patient.

imma be honest, i personally don't really care when it gets done or if it gets done. its just another hentai game and my life wont change if he takes 4 more years developing chapter 5 or if it releases tomorrow. i can understand if you are upset from the perspective of a patreon supporter, as you've basically been funneling money to this guy who clearly has little to no idea what they're doing with the game's development.

i'm just someone that wants to play the game for free for a good 3 to 4 hours, jerk off in the process, and then forget about it. am i annoyed that the development is moving absurdly slowly? yeah, but i'm not gonna sit here and act like i'm actively paying for the product in the first place.

all we can really do now is simply continue waiting until Zion finishes chapter 5. it's clear that no amount of bitching or complaining will get the guy to speed up, and no amount of praise or admiration will guarantee a change in his work pace.

I can only confirm this. If he didn't have any more supporters on patreon (or people in general who give him money for...well, nothing at all really), then he would magically release the game immediately. Then, strangely enough, he wouldn't need any more gametesters. Then he can be happy if anyone downloads his game at all.

The storyline of this game is pretty good,but why does it take so long to update the game?
Since 2020 I've been playing this game but even now I haven't gotten chapter 5? WTH.By the way,after I monitor the comments here it seems like the developer is having too much drama ,but I don't know what the real reason is, I just want chapter 5 and buy the game quickly if possible,cmon dude make this as soon as possible.
