I honestly liked the update, I kinda gave up on this game a while ago so it's easier for me to find positives.
-I liked the story and like how lore driven this game is, which I feel it was the plan from the very beginning so i don't understand the criticism, if you don't like it then the game is just not for you.
-The art is fine, I personally don't mind the animations and the poses are definitely better (the seducing poses after you defeat them are really hot). Those poses for me are the best part of the new artist, but as there is not really many of them per succubus, it ends up lacking when you compare it to the previous one. If there are not animations, slightly different CGs would improve the overall quality of the scenes a lot.
-The gameplay is absolute ass. Really tedious, not challenging at all and the fact that the enemies are all the same makes it even more boring. I think that maps, soundtrack (although there has been a lot of recycling in the last chapters) and overall atmosphere is great. Its obvious that Zion likes making a story the most, so he should just focus on that. No need to dump rpg maker but make it much more story focused with a few battles in between, kind of like the original monster girl quest trilogy.
-I personally liked the characters, they way they chose different paths and how it set up towards a common goal, I'm interest on how they will interact with each other once they reunite. The succubus were also nice but felt a bit too one dimensional for me and as they are the main enemy, it ends up repetitive. Hope Zion adds more free willed succubi that are not that attached to their clan, so they can have more personal goal or purposes, I think it would be refreshing for the game.
Overall this update made me recover some hope for the game. It did feel more of "lets get this over with" kind of update more than something actually passionate, but I think Zion could take the second episode as fresh start and make a really good saga. The thing I look up the most for the second part is that it is more like a visual novel and less like an rpg, which could potentially cover a lot of the weaknesses and it actually fits better for the way Zion makes and paces the game.
