There are the darker tiles in the lower part right? those are the walkable paths that you need to remember to go to the next floor. There is also a copyable map on the wiki if you want.

not the same game the expansion was for the free spin off game "Succubus Quest Tanpen ~The Old Librarian's Brief Dream~" (said expansion comes preinserted into the free game so no need to hunt it down first. )


no actual futa but there is a robot/doll girl who pops out a fake dick to peg lars with though... might be more if the translation includes the mods since i never explored all the mod stuff nor kept uptodate with them
And just like that, it's not futa, it's pegging.

Anyone else trying to fullscreen using the Alt-Enter Method only for the game to minimize and refuse to come back up for more than a split second?

Can someone please go and tell me what kinda transformations are in this game? it has the transformation tag, but that could be something as small as a game over scene, so I want to know what the transformations are!

Color me pleasantly surprised.

I only had the time for a short playtest, but noticed the "Coordinates"(outfits combinations) were broken - probably making the late game, let alone Draumior, hard if not unmanageable.
So here's a quick and dirty fix; P_states goes where the main .exe is.

I think I missed some other special autostates I remember. Maybe I'll look into it, but I can't promise anything rn... :(

Awesome work anyway, pvtnator I know firsthand this monster was a nightmare (pun intended) to TL.

That's odd, I haven't had issues with them, nor do I have a P_States file anywhere. Did you load a save that you had from before applying the translation? Maybe that leads to some issues

The coordinates show properly in equip screen (you edited the Scripts right), but you forgot to TL most of the 501+ states, which are recognized per name. So their effects would not apply.
P_states replaces /data/States.rxdata as intended by SQDT (scene-title). You might as well edit States.rxdata directly if you'd like. I'd rather not alter your work directly.

I remember a few other pieces of equipment also went with strange autostates. I don't have an old save, or the time to play through right now, so I can't double-check. The pieces of equipment that add % to a stat, IIRC.
I've experienced this issue before so I knew the strict minimum that needed to be changed.

Not blaming you at all, since the homemade code is that complicated - there's just too much to remember o_O Great job in SQ_Patch.rb, btw.

If you're interested, SQ1 also have great mods, especially the Nightmare mode which adds very hard challenges and traps, starting Sipuli. I don't remember the repository though (was called 'Lars'. 'Ayxect' was SQ2's). But they are even harder to TL...

Oh interesting, I guess it's possible that the stats never actually applied. Though I remember the outfit that boosts stats based on number of opponents making a huge difference in that one post-game fight, but maybe even then a special effect like that might apply while stats don't? Either way I could simply translate the states and that should sort it out then, thanks for letting me know. Unlike with Succubus Rhapsodia, I wasn't all that familiar with this game before starting with the TL, so it can be hard to judge if some part of the game logic is not working as intended

Edit: I just checked some things and a few outfits were not translated in states but most of them were, but either way I can't find anything from scripts that would parse the strings in such a way that it would be a problem. For outfits, the string seems to only be used for checking if the outfit should be available and for the detailed description. Or is this processed in CommonEvents? Because I don't have a way to search through all of that. But as far as I can tell, the stats and effects are being applied, so I think I need you to be a bit more specific about what is not working

I have found two little things and two important issues.

The important ones first:
1.) According to the Japanese wiki in order to get Rovissa's ending you need to talk to the old knight leader in Gruppen Castle when you can enter the Land of the Night.
He will give you an equipment called "shard of a sword" and ask you a question you translated as something like:
"Has your hatred for the demonlord changed?"
The answers are simply "Yes" and "No".

--> IMPORTANT: Japanese logic is different from Western logic here.
Japanese say "Yes, I still hate the demonlord." and "No, I do not hate the demonlord anymore.".
But Western people say "Yes, I do not hate the demonlord anymore." and "No, I still hate the demonlord.".

This is important because you need to answer that that you do NOT hate the demonlord anymore in order to be able to get Rovissa's ending.
So please change the answers to the question like this:
"Yes." -> No, I still hate the demonlord."
"No." -> "Yes, I do not hate the demonlord anymore."

2.) If you have completed the succubus diary (encountered, analysed and maxed out mood for all 100 succubuses) then talking to Sitri after the ending should give you a key item (some ring) that will transfer to other save files just like the "Fiction Ring".
But this ring allows Rovissa to then use all skills even without equipment.
It seems like this 100% trigger for the diary does not work.
So Sitri won't give you the ring even if you have completed the diary.

Now the small issues:
1.) Lars gets a skill called "Adjust" when he reaches a high level.
That skill allows the player to make their attacks weaker in case they have leveled up too much and still need to gather the info on weak succubusses for the diary.
When you use the skill you get a blue display in your stat screen during battle (like for other stat effect like Crisis or Incense) that display is not translated.
Also in your battle menu the skill is then replaced with a skill to undo this "Adjust" effect.
That undo skill is also not translated if I remember correctly.

2.) Rovissa can get a skill called "Passion" with equipment.
The description for that skill is not translated.

For those that are wondering how to get any other ending than the bad one.
In the battle against Olivia in the Midnight Church you must have low HP before dealing the finishing blow to her.
Around 500-800 HP or so.
Olivia will deal counter damage when being defeated, that counter damage MUST reduce your HP to 0.
Only then will you get to the good ending.

For Rovissa's ending you must do a few more things before entering the Midnight Church:
1. Talk to Rovissa about 40 times and then tell her that she is important to you when she asks by answering "Yes."
-> You can talk to here by simply pressing "A" on your keyboard when walking around normally.
2. Talk to the old knight leader in Gruppen castle and select the bottom answer (currently "No.") which according to Japanese logic means you do not hate the demonlord anymore.
3. If you did both 1+2 correctly then upon entering Midnight Church you will be asked whom you want to see Olivia or Rovissa.
Answer Rovissa here.
4. Just like with Olivia's battle have low HP in the battle against the last boss and get a double K.O. due to the boss's final counter damage.
5. Answer the following question with "Reality".

P.S.: In case you are wondering why the Japenese wiki does not work correctly:
It actually does. It is just that the translation function of google screws up the selection menu on the left.
So in order to use the menu links on the left, change the wiki back from "Translation" to show the "Original" language in the top right.
Then open the Japanese links on the left in the section "SQ1".

Thank you for the detailed feedback, I'll be sure to fix these issues. There was something I missed from being able to 100% the book so I never got to try that. Maybe you have a save that's 100% but without triggering the event?
