Like, she gets drunk off of wine chased with champagne at family gatherings and starts telling her nieces to never trust any man with a nice smile and a lot of game cause he’ll cheat on them and leave their asses with a miscarriage and a fucked up credit score. Then she walks up to that one nephew that’s kinda shy but he has good grades and shit and tell him he has to find a nice girl and go to church every Sunday so he can be right with god. He also needs to diversify his stock portfolio so he doesn’t end up broke like his one uncle that blew all his money on booze and poker. Also, these kids are in middle school and don’t fully understand what the hell’s happening, so they just stay quiet and nod along with Auntie Kate’s drunken ramblings. Status Update #54


Hello there!

This week we've continued working with animations, editing, ambience and SFX.

A lewd scene with animations is proving to be slightly painful when it comes to rendering and Iray convergence. And for those who aren't Daz nerds like Npx, Iray convergence is responsible for render quality and noise reduction. More light good, less light bad. Each render will calculate slightly differently, which is forgivable when it comes to singular renders, but with animations it will result in lots of noise and blur if done badly. We've tried a couple of optimizations but so far they've looked like ass in comparison to the normal renders. Wont give up though!

We tried to make animations in 0.5 night scenes but ultimately decided to skip them. One example would be Jenni's scene in the Freya alley, and a couple of animations with Mia at night. We had a couple of questions about these scenes lately after we mentioned our rendering rig, and whether we'll render animations for them. And the answer is yes, we will revisit them and render more animations when possible. Same possibly goes for the first Cassandra scene.

We also have a fresh batch of renders to post-process this weekend and they're looking pretty good. Specifically one of the night scenes is looking great, it's a nice mixture of lighting effects and darkness. Always a joy to play with fir- light.

On the topic of fresh renders, it's been a while, but one of our first special renders was a hot tub render with Ms. Hill back in the day. It was also one of the first night renders! Looking back, it wasn't too bad for a concept and test render. A bit rough, but it worked. Kate's assets floated well already back then. That said, we're happy to say there will be a continuation of this concept render coming soon in the game.

This is why her kicking the Mc under the bus makes no sense. She's been drinking on the job and Miller took the Mc (under the drinking age) to a STRIP CLUB and left him alone there so he got drunk. How do you explain that to his parents? If the Mc tells his folks the truth they are screwed.

I'm not saying he should blackmail her for sex but stand up to her bs.

It also makes no sense to introduce a threat to MC's tenure at camp only a few days into camp. Not only has not enough happened to get any emotional mileage from leaving the LIs, the player also knows the threat holds no weight as there is no way the MC leaves right after getting there. It is just not good writing.

Yeah, you have a point. The devs have a challenge because there have been multiple updates and I think they feel it's time for some more dramatic stuff. However in game time I think it's just been one day.
