Considering it took them months just to do the testing/polishing faze last time IIRC, how are they going to finish the update, test it and polish it all within just over 1 month.. it's not going to happen IMO.

Also i should imagine they will be taking time off nearer to Christmas/New years to spend time with their family.. which makes it EVEN less likely to be released this year.

I think they are on the polishing phase for a while All the latest reports have stuff like fixing clothes pokethroughs and stuff like that, adjusting stuff and fixing renders I think that's part of the polishing phase.

Post-production work done in Photoshop or similar software. Most devs of games with high image quality do this as a matter of course, as it's rare that you will always get renders that are perfect first time (or within tolerance enough for use).
