What we can basically derive from this is Naughty Fox Games still struggles to scale up the content/time ratio, which is not ideal but it's also not the end of the world.
Render speed *should* have improved with the new rig (which isn't really new by now), so there are bottlenecks elsewhere. Learning to remove bottlenecks without hindering the quality of the end product is by no means an easy task for a small team with limited resources (and therefore without the option of acquiring more hands to get on the project), but hopefully
Northpx have a few leads.
For my personal opinion, Summer Heat is still on the right side of the content/time ratio if you account for the quality of the delivered product, so again I don't think it's the end of the world. But they'll need to scale that ratio up at some point, especially when branching storylines become a thing.
