Some creators make good updates with similar numbers, that's the author's fault for making a fucking weak update

You can add "fuck off" to the first 4 updates too, because that was pretty much the response to them too.
People want massive updates made in short time.
The first 4 chapters, they were complaining that they were too short and didn't have enough lewd content. So with Chapter 5 he decided to make it bigger and that takes time, and they complained it took too long to release. So he shortened Chapter 6 and now we are back to people complaining about too little content again.
When will people realize that it takes time to make massive updates? You can't have both a lot of content and short development time!

I can't talk about things before 0.5 because i wasn't there but to me the current problem is really that it took kinda the same amount of time for 0.5 and 0.6 BUT 0.5 have more than double the length and renders... (did they give any explanations for this?) Anyway, it's weird but i think calling 0.6 bad or a "fuck off" update is way to harsh, it's just too short for a amount of time where we know and they've proven capable to do twice as much.

It was 2 months shorter development time than Chapter 5, as I understand it.
They apparently had some new problems as well as had to upgrade their rig in the middle of development. Not sure exactly what problems made it take longer. Sure, there were 50% more animations in Chapter 6 but it shouldn't affect development that much.
Polishing, testing and bug fixing took 2 months.
They also had to re-make a lot of the renders in 0.6 because they were using different versions of Daz on their rigs and it was causing problems. That issue has been fixed for 0.7, at least.

Not sure on your playthrough, but on mine I got to fuck the toaster. It was hot!!No, but there was an amazing toaster animation in the last update. Much better than that pesky lewd content people seek in adult visual novels.

By "unnecessary conversation" i assume you are referring to MC talking with Mickey in the 0.6. Why do you think it was unnecessary? All the choices made during those look like interesting setup for things in the future (at least to me) and it was kinda funny. There is some potential sharing and mmf setup vibes that i'm all for and hoping for... i don't know what the dev have planned for the story and this kinda of content but they must be a reasons for mike to be there (other than comical). Anyway i don't think spending time with the different characters (even the bros) is bad but i guess some people want girl only content and harem stuff.

isnt delelopment time for 6th was >= 5th? i bet it was equal. I thought SH just transferred to a badik/radiant etc long type of updates. but this time they just took a "long" part.
also idc who were complained, 5th was pure magic.
with scenes with all main girls + 1 sides Li + phone chatting
when 6th was just 1 iteration of scene in 5th. and it felt like a 1/3. when i played it, it thought there will be next step with girls at the evening. it was huge disappointment.
so no what is their plan now? short or big update?
