I don't know what it is about this game that makes me keep coming back to it. It has that rose-tinted tone of nostalgia to it but feels so vivid at the same time. Or more like "vibrant" .
It's like waking up early on a late summer day when the bugs are chirping, the grass is wet, and the sun feels more like a warm glow rather than a scorching heat. It feels like it should be a slow, lazy morning but you have this fresh and excited feeling that makes your face tingle. And you can really just take in all your surroundings.
VNs like this keep me coming back. It never really has to be a super unique premise. There are so many other aspects for VNs like the character writing, render quality, plot development, and scene/sound direction (especially the sounds in this game, there's something that really pulls at me there). And especially if you can grab at some kind of distant pang of nostalgia and capture it perfectly, then you've got yourselves a banger.
