Yeah no, Sophie has the same smug face almost the whole game. We don't need the same expression in other games, thank you.

Status Update #33


Hello there!

It's been a good week. One of us almost fell through a roof recently, which helped a lot with staying still and focusing on development tasks. A lot of render fixes got done in the process. A win for the greater good!

We've been finalizing the soundscape for an upcoming scene, deciding whether to go with pure ambience and SFX, or boost the mood with a bit of music. Hard choice.

A good batch of missing and fixed renders are also coming out of the render queue. After some polish and post-processing we'll get to slap them into the game. Next week, we'll start rendering a couple weeks' worth of animation frames.

Soon it'll be time for another preview, this time with the spotlight on just one of the ladies, rather than a group shot. Who would you like to see most?


Other news

There have been a couple of extra renders made for you since the last status update. Easter wishes from Eve, Sophie's special render for April, and finally Ms. Hill as Gwynevere from Dark Souls. We may have something else coming still this weekend, if time allows it.

We have also rendered an extra portrait version of Kate for the Gwynevere post, something that was missing. It'll also be attached to this post. Thanks to GrizzLi for the RR suggestion! The next RR will be of Bree.

I was thinking that in the first chapter, Caitlyn tells us that we'll be there for several weeks. Knowing that the 6 Chapters represent a day and a half in the game. Will we have the final version with its 100 Chapters in 2050 ? :HideThePain:

There will be some small time skips or not the hour-by-hour day anymore

Here is a list of all the dates and times throughout the game (Chapter 1-6), tracked mostly by phones and computer but also from a few comments in the dialogue.

I put this together after reading a few comments here from people that thought too much happened in one day and I wanted to see if it was possible.
