A normal Friday evening in general..

Even though I’ve complained a lot here (sometimes unnecessarily), I’ll be one of the first to cheer the moment the release date finally appears on the banner. That doesn’t automatically mean the update will be worth the wait, but I can’t deny that the cast as a whole is probably my favorite cast in any AVN.

Not really. Unless it has a release date they are not really worth reading anymore. There are only som any times you can write "worked on renders and code" before it all blurs together.

I mean, if the game is still going to release this year I think the release date must be on this status update or the next one, unless they going for a shadow drop the release date should be told 15 days or something before the release.
December is always a complicated month for updates with the holydays, so if we don't get news about the date this status update or the next one I would start to get worried about it releasing before end of the year

Looking at the duration of the dev cycles (especially this one), it seems the upcoming chapter is most likely gonna be "good" at best and very underwhelming at worst. There are way too many LIs and the plot (in every way) is moving forward at snail's pace. Long dev cycles, a lot of LIs, branching paths and a painfully-slow plot progression are a recipe for disaster. I am all for slow-burn and I really love this game, but, increasingly I'm starting to think that in near future either this game will have an abandoned tag or it's gonna be downvoted to hell. Remains to be seen which comes first. I hope neither does and the devs do course correction while there's still time.

Not really, five is a very reasonable number. It's not so difficult to handle five love interests, a lot of popular AVNs even deal with more. On the ther hand, there's maybe to much focus on Helen or the ember girls.
