It has been so long since I played this game that I already forgot pretty much everything. The problem with updates that take over a year to come out is that it's very hard to meet people's expectations.

This is what I have been saying a lot. There is absolutely no way the next update can live up to the hype unless the next update is literally the entire rest of the game with several hours worth of content.

I don't think so. I knew of a dev still having 3k+ patrons after more than 2 years without releasing anything.

They might lose a bit more patrons if the udpate is a total joke but not if it's anything at least decent.

At 2 updates a year, I start to forget the story line and who the characters are in the game. It's hard for me to get back into a game once I hit that wall.

Since release we have progressed 2 days in game.
Bree states summer camp is supposed to last "A few weeks", ergo atleast 14 days.
So at the bare minimum we have another 6 years of dev time IF current tempo is kept.
