We are on day 2 so the story lines/plot hooks will feel like a tease; there wasn't enough time for them to develop into something deeper. My concern is that there might be too many of them:
  • Obviously the main story of what happens during the actual camp (the classes)
  • Story line for each of the 5 main girls (presumably; we already have something for Eve)
That's already 6. Then we have:
  • Original location: Why change it? What happened? Where was it? Potentially tied to the main story.
  • Mr. Miller: His attitude towards MC, his shady dealings.
  • Missing items/thief.
  • The abandoned building: Why? What's going on there? This one might be a one time thing though, we just got there.
  • Ember matches? Possibly just a side thing for fun with nothing coming out of it even after the significant time investment.
That's just from the top of my head.

Will there be enough in-game time to finish all of them properly (= without some contrived shit / deus ex machina)? Time will tell. Or maybe I went full Chekov's Gun and it's all just for flavor.

Release date is 31st Dec 2025 as they promised update this year bcz they can't release it before 31st dev don't like to see people happy they like to see people rot in silence while waiting for update it gives them joy they like people's anger frustration sadness and the most important thing they like is "POLISH "

Did the Dev gave release date? Cuz last week status report they mentioned that there is still lot of work left to do.

In the October 17th Patreon post they said: "Lately we've been answering a lot of "update when?" questions again so we figured we might as well confirm it publicly as well. Yes, Summer Heat will be updating this year."

That is the only thing close to a date they've given. That being said, considering how much work seems to be left, I'm not sure if they're going to make it.
