Hello, everyone!
The week went by fast while we were focusing on coding, SFX and making renders. There are still a few scenes with missing renders, and some work required in the earlier scenes, but the amount of work remaining is getting smaller and smaller each day. It feels like a relief, like always when an update cycle is nearing the end. We've also plotted a rough outline of 0.7 already so we have a base to work off as soon as 0.6 is released, which should make the scripting a little bit easier next time around.
This week we also returned to a previous lewd scene to fix some issues and expressions. Which is to say that, yes, 0.6 will have a couple of lewd scenes with varying degrees of lewdness.
We've also started making preparations to purchase new assets to assist with the development. Previously we got a rendering rig, which works flawlessly, but we're still creating scenes on an older setup. So upgrading the actual working rig will be our next project to help improve our workflow. We've been sort of avoiding it because of all the extra work that comes with it, such as reinstalling Daz3D. Those who know, know how annoying Daz can be. But it must be done.
In the name of science, we took a moment to measure the characters in Summer Heat. Mostly their heights, but also other things. So in case you ever wondered about the height of Player or your favorite girl, here you go:
- Player 6'2
- Bree 5'9
- Sophie 5'8
- Eve 5'8
- Kate 5'7
- Helen 5'7
- Mia 5'5
Other news
The android version seems to be ready for release now, and we're eagerly waiting for all the new problems it will bring. The March special render poll has also ended, and Sophie rises as the winning girl! Next week there will also be a preview featuring Caitlynn, also known as Ms. Hill, or simply Kate.

I cannot for the life of me understand what the in game explanation was for the mc getting in the car with Miller to go to the club either time. Four car rides with this dude on day 1 is a bit much.
