Well, thanks for the information, risking to be on your list too, I don't fucking care. Also this is a public message board and any arsehole can answer any post he want regardless of what the poster want. You think you're funny? Well, you're not. I believe the images in the game are png which are already compressed as much as they can be in a lossless manner. What you are talking about are jpeg (or other format) images which compress more but are lossy.learn how to compress your images.
Oh, I would love to, but my workload grew exponentially lately and is already at maximum and beyond. I'd be more than happy to provide material if anyone is interested in creating some more. I'm sure I'll create some too eventually. Adding it to my to-do list, but don't expect them anytime soon please.also FlipDaShit are you planning on making anymore gif fansigs for summer in the city?
This game isn't all that taxing on RAM. If you are having problems, it is most likely on your end.You think you're funny? Well, you're not. I've already got everything you've listed. webp is even better than png at lossless compression. that’s why almost every image you find on a news/magazine site and a lot of the best google image results are webp. it’s only an issue/people hate it because it’s still a decent distance from mass adoption and an annoying amount of sites and programs don’t support itI believe the images in the game are png which are already compressed as much as they can be in a lossless manner. Given the dev/artist spent a lot of time creating and rendering these images I don't think they would want to compress them in a lossy manner which lowers quality.
If you want the dev to offer a jpeg/compressed version of the game ask for that. Its very rude to say "learn how to compress your images".
Let's try to keep a positive and friendly environment.
good point the thing about webp is you need to have a program which creates lossless webp's. webp supports both lossless and lossy. most of the stuff on websites looks lossy to me.webp is even better than png at lossless compression. that’s why almost every image you find on a news/magazine site and a lot of the best google image results are webp. it’s only an issue/people hate it because it’s still a decent distance from mass adoption and an annoying amount of sites and programs don’t support it
As far as I'm concerned, everything's fine. I just wanted to make it clear that 5 GB for a VN that's barely started is a load of rubbish. This game isn't all that taxing on RAM. If you are having problems, it is most likely on your end.

It's 3 GB, not 5 GB, which actually makes quite a difference in a VN. And "barely started" is also quite a bit of an exaggeration, if I may say so. You're welcome to share your opinion here, but please state correct facts in my thread and don't embellish them to make your statement seem more valid. Thank you.As far as I'm concerned, everything's fine. I just wanted to make it clear that 5 GB for a VN that's barely started is a load of rubbish.
Ah, shit! In fact, I saw 9 GB, but these are the three documents. It's my fault, I admit. Why did I mention 5 GB? I don't know, I must have got it mixed up with another VN.It's 3 GB, not 5 GB, which actually makes quite a difference in a VN.
