What makes this even funnier is I don't think Logo even had the intention of making the guys' look like they are younger than they are, just that he wanted Kasie to look older than them.
He has expressed confusion in the past about why people obsess so badly with the size of them.

If it bothers you, I don't think you should play this game, my friend. There are tons of games with taller men than women, play them.
logo doesn't change anything, this type of games is so rare (older sister and two little brothers)

If I remember correctly when I was a subscriber Dev made a poll about the appearance of the two boys.
The options was a) look younger + same height b) older + taller c) stay as it is….. c dominate in votes…

So this just lines up even more with my initial thought that he ended up doing a certain genre of game without realizing it, until an overwhelming amount of comments pointed it out to his own confusion.
There may be a lot of comments about the slow burn pace of the game but the real killer would be if he changed the brothers to look older/taller.
Also what does " a) look younger + same height " imply? Same height as they are but look even younger (even though they already look like they are young teens)? Or look younger and be the same height as Kasie?

The comments about the "slow burn" started to rise when the dev stopped making the updates every 2 months and went to 4-5 months...
5 updates per year move the story forward… 2 does not…
