Wonder how these guys keep geting away with launching the same game over a over again.

You can still do this. I've even made two lesbians who were into each other eventually break up, AND both hating me.
They also still have this, but unfortunately there are no heart effects to really convey that they like it, only subtle changes to the moans
The game (plus trait mod) have all of these things except the rainbow cards and fast transitions, the OP unfortunately messed up his repack. try finding a HongFire patch in the SVS section within the Koikatsu discord, it might fix up your game for you.

In my opinion, AA2 is an optimized version of AA1.
AA1 have this same slow map transitions, and traits are only 2 selectable in AA2 without mods.
NPC to PC interruption can be disabled in Options>Balance Settings.

Yep. Some devs departed and started Illumination, but most of the core devs of Illusion are now employees in Illgames. Safe to say they're the same.
Create a temp folder with the 3 files that start with SamabakeScramble HF Patch v1.6 and run it from there (ie: c:\temp\sbPatch). When promted add the path to your current folder

So, I ended up figuring out where to find the personality DLC's, over on their site here:

. The problem is now I have a bunch of files I have no idea what to do with. When I extracted them all it gave me that folder up above the lot, leading to more Japanese I can't read, leading to that last folder with the update in it, each one has its own, and when i click it, nothing really happens. Anyone with a better sense for these things have any idea where I'm supposed to cram these files in to make them work?That page you found is a compilation of community made cards not the dlc. The personality pack dlc is not free. I found a link to it in the old discussion thread and re-posted it.

Ohh, huh, yeah that makes much more sense now. One step closer then! Question is where ought I plop these ones in instead then?
If you run the [haro]+SS+Registry+Fixer.bat file in the main game folder the .exe files should work and install themselves.
Or if you don't want all those cards bogging down the game (it will take minutes for them all to load when you first access them in game every restart) manually put the cards you want in \SamabakeScramble\UserData\chara\female (Or /male)

You must be registered to see the links
, Drag and drop everything into the game folder and run the update.exe. And don't forget the reinstall the HF patch. If you want to thanks someone thank dbuck53 for posting this in another thread. If you have issues installing look down a few post below.

It had no story at all. Sim games like AA2 and SVS wouldn't work as well with a decent story, since you can do a number of things to everyone, in comparison to KK and other Illusion games.
Soooo I might be missing something so ill just ask, I am trying the game rn and managed to get a relationship going, tried to get an H-scene started between the characters but the screen just turned white and skipped it. Was this from the patch that came with all the other files or is there something im missing to actually enable them?

Have you tried the "Uploader" option in the main menu?
It will connect to Illgames server which currently has 965 pages of 21 cards each (over 20k) and also an area to download game saves (currently about 15 pages).
No login needed, but it will ask you for a username the first time.
Illusion's updates have very rarely run correctly on non-Japanese systems.
Fortunately, all you have to do is copy the folders/files contained in the "setup" directories of the download into your game directory. That's all their update file does.
Copy the "abdata" directory in the "setup" directory into your game directory. Tell it "yes" to merge the folders and "copy and replace" any duplicate files.
Then do the same for the 3 directories and the GameAssembly.dll file from the "setup1" directory.
Don't forget to run the HF patch to correct the translation afterwards.

so can there be multiple men on a save file at once like AA2? or is the cheating just between women
