Is this actually a game? From what I played it's pretty much a scene viewer with an extra step or two. kind of a shame Illusion fell so hard...

Illusion games... have been like this since like... forever? The last ILL/Illusion game I can even remember having any vague mechanics is that one game where you are a demon lord and battle.

This one being a bit more than some of their other recent offerings in that it emulates AA2s "ant farm" like setting where you toss a bunch of NPCs in and they organically develop relationships with each other for you to mess around with.

Did you have a link for downloading AA2 with betterrepack?

There is no betterrepack for AA2, as far as I know anyways. You'd have to get a hold of the base game and get all the official DLC. After installing it you'd run the Hongfire patch for translations and other nice modifications. I think there used to be other options as well, but the game is old enough for stuff to disappear with no living download links.
If you do decide to go through the trouble, I give a major warning that one of the biggest advancement made over time was the customization options and shading style.

Replying to myself for any other person looking for this issue.

The HFPatch solved it. In it's installer's last setting page, just check 'Fix Digital Craft recognizing SVS' or something saying like that and install.
That did it for me.

You'll see in Digital Craft's main menu top right printed SV if it worked.

now you can see the japanese menu when you open now.

So if you want the personality pack DLC,

You must be registered to see the links

, Drag and drop everything into the game folder and run the update.exe. And don't forget the reinstall the HF patch. If you want to thanks someone thank dbuck53 for posting this in another thread. If you have issues installing look down a few post below.

Put everything into the game folder and getting an error saying the summer pack isn't installed. I've downloaded the gofile version from the front page. Is there a different version I should be using with this?

Edit: Gave up using the updater.exe and just manually installed folders into the right spots and it works.

Not sure from what i've seen you all of you need very high affection or dating each other, However the game really does not tell you much just need to do a lot of trial and error. The only way i was able to do it is all 3 of you are dating each other, and to have sex out in the open they must have their virtue ordinary or lower.

Not sure from what i've seen you all of you need very high affection or dating each other, However the game really does not tell you much just need to do a lot of trial and error. The only way i was able to do it is all 3 of you are dating each other, and to have sex out in the open they must have their virtue ordinary or lower.

On top of what Stealthfroob1 said, I recommend having the Carnivorous traits on the NPCs. Also, all of them need at least Good or higher levels of sex compatibility with each other, so you may need to take control of the other characters you want to do a threesome with.

Fun Fact: You can use SB3UGS to compress the .untiy3d files in /abdata/ to shrink the game down to ~18 gigabytes.
