Guys, why do people prefer AA2 to this SVS? Personally, I didn't notice any differences compared to the previous game. Of course, there's nothing significant new, but well, that wouldn't make this game any worse.
I know there are limitations to mods, but from what I remember, the mod scene only really exploded with Koikatsu.
This is all just my impression; I'd like to hear from more experienced members.

Because they have spend 10 year playing the same game, they are loyal and they will refuse to change into a new game even so the new one has a bigger pontetial for mods.

Modding on Unity even with IL2CPP is way easier than modding AA2. And tbh the only big reason to play AA2 over SVS is the Module system that AA2 has, which is essentially an editor for the NPCs AI.

I've always wondered why illusion and illgames by being one of the successor groups don't do 4p and 5p anymore aside from that failed sims one. Their older games iirc play club and play home had those. They dont do that intransition animation from pose to pose since that one game with the girl being possessed by 3 spirits lol

Behaviour changing modules, more fleshed out and varied voice acting, more interpersonal relation type, murder, also it has more sex positions. The only things better in svs is the character creations and graphic imo though the gameplay aspects can be changed if people bother to do it at least after it hasn't been updated by illgames just like aa2 back then.

Why can't I upgrade it into 1.1.6? Ik im dumb and also new in this community but i need y'all help!

im done following all the instruction above but 1 thing i cant find, its the old maploader instead im using the new one. For Personality DLC, im just copy paste inside the setup & setup1 folder into the main folder without using the updates app.. idk if its worked or not and after i HF Patched the game wont updated into 1.1.6

(All the mods include hardmods and custom maps etc, already installed in the folder.. do i need to delete and tried all over again or what?)

For those that are experiencing endless whitescreens: I had the same issue when I installed the game in a SSD, i was able to remedy the issue by installing the game in a NVME storage.

I followed the exactly what he said but still stuck on 1.1.3 also the game works 100% with DLC on but in lower version

Its a shame seen this game failing so bad...
I return to modding for a brief moment to work in this game (I translated the tutorials and all the un-subtittled voiced dialogues), I took a look in the unused content and I thought this guys had a good chance to make a good game... but oh hell, I think there are some bugs present from the v1.0 as well as almost the same amount of unused content, but what really affected this game is how they limited modding for no good reason...

I don't know, I think for now, the last chance to see something good coming from the deceased company are the devs who are making a new VR Kanojo (The devs who made "grape" games were dissolved or absorbed between the two remaining circles).

That would imply the patch files were not merged, only reason I can think of it you did copied over the subdirectory instead of content of it to the main directory of game.

Hi, I have a question, I have been downloading character cards at the in-game server gallery, bus a lot of the characters dont have the clothes showed in the cards, how do I figure which pack a need to download to get those clothes?
I have already installed both DLC and the 1.9 Repack but I'm still missing a lot of clothes

Does anyone know the answer for this question? I sometimes have this problem as well and I couldn't figure out why.

Nah, it's mostly because the AI and map design pale in comparison to AA2. Most people realize that SVS is at worst a cash grab, at best a test run for Illgames' upcoming game AICOMI (which I do have high hopes for). If AICOMI actually fulfills its role as an AA2 successor, and not a project demo like SVS was, you'll probably see people actually migrate away from AA2.

Aicomi will have Koikatsu gameplay, it won't have anything related to SVS or AA2 gameplay wise.

I'm wondering which screenshot or trailer you saw and convinced you it is a successor of AA2.

Their new game, Aicomi, is suppose to be the new Koikatsu. It's actually coming out later this month on the 26th, although it will take modders a bit of time to translate it into English.
