Coming back from the course. Man, even in the middle of the lesson, I still remembered it. I was a shitty teacher today.

its impossible to go through the details needed and progress with each character just in a update... id say that you progress with, bella, nami, zara and her sister and also a bit with the sports thing in just one update, also nadia too.. i think its impossible to do more than that and im not sure what you expect.. sure we have favourites but your favourite is not really someone that its mainly focused on, you get to meet her more soon with the fighting thing.
i personally think this update was perfect. you see more of a direction where its all going and you have progressed a lot with many characters, its going to take a while to get through them all sure but i wouldnt want him rushing through it. you cant go deep on one or 2 characters and just skim through the rest.
Also i heard before this update the mum is no longer a LI not that im sure she ever was shows to me that her and that nick will get more involved and maybe soon you go to live with them, knowing zara will be that close every day is all i can ask for looool

Maybe I'm alone in this opinion but I thoroughly didn't enjoy the whole DnD-2077 part of the update.
I feel like a huge chunk of rendering time went out to a completely mundane and forgettable part of the chapter whereas just more of the story time could've been expanded. I know other developers put in similar segments to their chapters but just feeling like this didn't bring anything meaningful or enriching.
Either way, the rest of it was some quality content, looking forward to what's next.

And the fucking uncaught exceptions don't help either. Plus those fucking missing images have been fucking missing for a long fucking time

thats your opinion, not facts. i dont care for it but i also can appreciate that he put a lot of work into it and it was way better than what i thought it would be. end of the day he will make what he wants to make, its something he obviously wanted to try and he succeeded with it imo. would i want every update to have that? no. but i dont mind it and we got a lot of normal content with it.
people forget that these games are not just made for you, the devs that make them will put whatever they want and go wherever they want with the story. if they want to add something because they enjoy making it then who tf am i to say anything to that? if i ever didnt like it or if it was over run with something i didnt like i just wouldnt play.

Ocean should really consider creating some system with characters data (some short info about them with photo etc). He created so many characters already (and I feel there is more to come) so I have headache trying to remember even names. Maybe the famous Nami's photobook will do the trick.
Played this game a few times so I wanna unlock the complete gallery so I can check out newest scenes. Anyone got any idea how ? I tried to do it with renpy common gallery unlock but it doesn't work.

Just finished the new update thought it was excellent as always!i can kinda understand some of the complaints about the game not having any sexual bits in it yet at least not full on sex but tbh this is one of the few games where the story and its characters makes it ok with me and honestly makes me think it's going to be even more special when we actually get it

I thought so as well, in the shower with Nia if i'm correct.
But that also doesn't add up since you can he Nami partly naked when is getting drawn by Ayua for their art lessons and you don't see any pubes there either.

Yeah, Zara is cool. And i must admit, at the beginning Vanessa was rubbing me the wrong way - hard. I just couldnt stand her, but after a while i started to like her - well, kind of...
Honestly have to agree as you said there are already a ton of main and side characters and again more are most certainlyon the way and with updates being a bit far between each other having some kinda character info menu would be nice

I like the game a lot, I insist that it develops its own personality for its characters, which gives it a lot of solidity and makes it more complex. You are right about the patreon. But in such long updates and in a game that is expanding more and more in terms of interests in other new protagonists, it is not such a good idea. The game already has a couple of years since it was created, you are right about the work and others but it is too long between updates, and in all that time instead of consolidating the routes it has been expanding them, for loyal players we like that but in the long run all this could lead, and I fear it will, to the game being abandoned due to overwork and time. I hope I'm wrong and I hope he finds more sponsors, he deserves it

I agree. Let's hope for the best. Ocean really likes what he is doing and he is really interested in developing the universe which he is creating with his games. Considering his love for details and constant improvement of his work I do not fear, that he could abandoned his games. For him it’s like abandoning a child as he once said in a post. It might just take time. As long as he doesn't experience to much stress this game will be fine. If it only was for money, then he would already abandoned it. There are devs who create VNs only for money and there are devs who do it out of passion. Ocean seems to be the second type.
So, let's just appreciate what we have and hope for the best.
