I think you'll have a better experience if you wait for the full version. Besides the reworked Chapter 2, the bugs and spelling errors from the beta version will be fixed.
The first scenes with Sonya seem like they're out of order. You first meet her on the bus and act like you've met her but then when she walks into class the mc thinks to himself "Sonya was her name I think". He should already know her name.

I have a feeling that Zara's never had a serious relationship. Her constant training and participation in multiple sports teams monopolizes her time, and any guy who has been interested in her is probably put off by having to compete with her sports obsessions for her time as well as being intimidated by a girl who is in far better shape than he is. Nika is so into himself that nobody intimidates him and he's physically fit and competitive, all which catch Zara's attention. He's probably the first guy who she hasn't scared off, plus he reaches out to her asking for her help which reveals a vulnerability she finds endearing since everyone else sees her as threat if she's a potential competitor or standoffish in other circumstances if they don't share her passions. She is becoming a favorite girl of mine.

Updates take a long time to be released, everyone knows that, but within the game, there's only about a week's worth of content, so the game is still in the beginning.4 years for begining of the game ?

Very nice update as usual. Nothing new but Nia and Zara are wonderful characters and they were my favorite moments of the update. We tend to moan in this thread about characters who we wish were LIs, but at least I am thankful to Ocean for making room for Nia. She was unplanned but developed into a gem! Slightly disappointed that we don't get to choose whether we move in with Mila or stay at Zara's. The latter sounded better to me. but Ocean understandably replied that it would basically be too big a branching to deal with. And I don't buy that we cannot do anything sexual with Bella because pp doesn't work. Sex does not have to be all centered on the D. If he wants to make his gf-but-not-officially-gf feel good and give her relief because she's very horny, he could get her off without his pp.
It was great to see Katie make an appearance in SG. She doesn't look that much older than in WIAB and she's still hot. It makes you wonder what's her connection to Nika and Nami as Nojiko is upset that she shows up, so obviously she for some reason wants Katie to stay away from them. I would strongly suspect that they are related to her, and that would be why Ayua's LI status is tricky, maybe she is their half-sibling or cousin? Not a new theory but this is a new element in its favor.
My biggest complaint remains that the updates take too long to see the ending in any reasonable amount of time Because the game is great!
Oh and regarding the LI list, expect very rare updates nowadays. Ocean has stated repeatedly that he will not comment on whether a character is a LI any longer (except the obvious ones). So on the current LI list, a few should be missing (but may not have all been introduced yet).

It makes you wonder what's her connection to Nika and Nami as Nojiko is upset that she shows up, so obviously she for some reason wants Katie to stay away from them. I'm going by the dates on my saves and I tend to skip half-chapter updates like the last one was (4.5). Also simple math: first release was May 2019. 5 chapters/53 months = 10.6 month average.Aren't you just Mr. Sunshine!
And, since Ocean has made releases almost every 6 months for years (full to full or Beta to Beta), what calendar are you using that turns that into 10-12 months?

Haha i would have prefered to stay at Zara's place very very much too. The house and everyone living there are awesome and interresting. A role which William seems to have neglected? With the appearance of Katie at the Bookclub i cant imagine her interrest in Nika/Nami being anything else than being related in some form and Katie somehow gave me strong auntie vibes lol.
I guess they are Leia's kids and she asked Katie to took a look at them because she somehow dont want to / cant, and i guess than william had to be the father which would make him look kinda shitty not reaching out to his son during years of depression .. i dunno ..
It seems like Nojiko took them away from the zane's and didnt want any contact between them (maybe after the accident?) but i cant see why she should have any authority in this case.
Yeah exactly, I hate sandboxes in porn games, period. If I wanted game elements with my story I'd go to Steam and play an actual game (last one was Beyond: Two Souls, a good one, even if it is short and can be finished in 2 days). AVNs are a niche thing anyway compared to typical AAA Steam games. I'd think the 5M+ users here and the million or so on other AVN sites is probably most if not all of everyone that even is into AVNs. Sure there's still some that haven't heard of AVNs even though they've been a thing for 20 years if you count RPGM ones (I mostly wasn't interested until Renpy and Daz was more popular in 2017 or so, I'm just not a fan of hand-drawn Hentai-style 2D cartoons), but that pool is drying up. And emailing a link to a filehost and a dev page isn't difficult, and I'd think these days if they are old enough to read most know how to download and extract a file (and even apply a decensor patch if necessary) if they are not grandma.Gifting a game to interested friends and family members is Very easy on Steam.
Sharing links and explaining pirate downloads on F95 is Not something as easy nor is it something I could do with everyone in that same audience.
Now, perhaps your family and friends are different, and they all know about and use F95. If so - that is fine.
It is just not the reality for others.
I'm looking forward to gifting SG to a number of people. It is, in Season 1, a great story with adult elements and therefor more mainstream.
If they like it enough to choose to download Season 2 when it is available or to wishlist it on Steam, I will continue to gift it; if not, I won't.
So That is why Steam is a Very good venue for sharing Summers Gone and building the fan base.

Isn't there an old theory bouncing round that say's Nika is Leia and Williams "forbidden fruit" child and Nami is William and Daphne's child? If so, they'd be half siblings. That'd make Ayua a half sibling as well.

Katie tells the other woman at the book club that William and Leia are alive and well. We know that Nami's and Nika's parents are dead.
