Yah I get u. Even tho it's small thing I can't focus on playing because of it. Here's hoping "someone" drop the uncensored patch for this week

I'm working on one for the Steam version (although via SanchoMod). No promises though as this is not what I normally do and it's a rather tedious process. That said I have the first 3 chapters done as of this post. But it's Monday so I could easily get frustrated and just shut down the studio rather than waterboard myself with monotony .

Let's be real here, and let's just forget about tits, vaginas and dicks for a second... a simple google search will show you how the US classification system for games work... let's have a look:



Riiight... so now, guess which game starts with a teenage girl getting ran over by a car and left blodied on the street, while the driver points a gun at another teenager?

Guess which game has depictions of a teenager using drugs?

Guess which game has an extreme over-use of foul language, including very no-no words like retard and cunt every 5 seconds, threats of violence (jokes about school shootings) and various other forms of crude and vulgar language?

Now... why would anyone try to pass a game like that as a 13+ game is a very good question... but then you add all of the sexual stuff on top of that, even if it's just tit shots, and yeaaaaaah, I'm not sure what the plan was.

So, like, if he decided to "censor" the game down to a 13+ rating so he could sell it in germany and all that, then he should've ACTUALLY removed all the problematic content, not just some dick shots and some random nudity... But of course, doing a full sanitization would've made most of his fans furious, because it would be a HUGE departure of what the game is supposed to be and what he promised them... so instead he did a really half-assed job of trying to tone it down a bit, but really, what the fuck was he expecting to happen?

It would've been faaaaar easier, quicker and simply better to cut his losses on a couple of songs and on being able to sell it in fuckin germany, like every other AVN has to do...

Anyways, at this point it feels like I'm beating on a dead horse, so bleh, I'm off...

I do not understand Ocean's obsession to release the censored version on steam, being a dik is also on steam and has not suffered any censorship, in those countries where it can not be published that is not published and that's it, people will buy it on patreon and ready, it makes no sense to lengthen the developments and make 2 versions just for that.

It's too bad. The story is a bit dark at times but, overall, it's told by one of the best artist/animator/story tellers out there. But now, for me, it will be totally dark since I am "unwatching" this title. I would never consider buying it since there is nothing there to buy that wasn't there 2 years ago. I guess it's just the price one sometimes pays for following products "in development". Too often they just grind to a halt.

Nothing? All of chapter 4 and 5 have been added since '2 years ago'. That's the basketball game, almost all of getting to know Zara, the tabletop, the locker room, the dinner with Nick, Vanessa, the tennis game, the morning with Bella, the visit to Nia, More bella, the book club, Katie...

So, really, not nothing that wasn't there, but there's nothing you're interested in. I'll admit, the tabletop made me sleepy...

Not disagreeing with your logic, but the rating was 16+ for the German market that he was aiming for, not 13+US German's have different ratings, as does Europe, as does Asia. Ocean wasn't trying to get it for teens, he was trying to avoid 18+ for geoblocking reasons, because Steam. But it is a dead horse, that bolted the gate, and then got locked up and ...yeah, all that.

Ohhh I always wait for your mod but just got excited and tried to use the patch and didn't notice it still chapter 5 beta. Just hoping it works for joiplay cuz I still can't afford to buy laptop rn T^T. Thanks for the hard work and praying that u won't fully lost interest in dis game even with all of this drama happening

I can't help but wonder about the overwhelming love for "Katie". Was it cultivated during the early epochs of WiAB, or did I inadvertently overlook her prominence in SG? It appears her presence is rather scarce in SG, thus sparking my curiosity

I'm out of reactions, so I'll reply - I get you on all that. I am still curious enough to find out what happenes and plan on being around for a while, so if there's progression, I can keep my eyes open while doing other things in the mean time. WiaB's next release will probably show how Ocean does the commercial 18+ thing, that's kinda more my cup of tea at the moment even if I enjoy this.

I wish you only grea games that meet your expectations, because they are few and far between ...and worth finding

In Old pre-rework WiaB, Miru is ...hideous. As in, hideous enough that most AVN players wanted fewer sex scenes because of her. Most wer happy old Miru was the focus of most of the NTR, even the NTR haters thought it was okay, because she was that hideous.

...okay I'm exaggerating. But she was bad. Katie was unique, and was so antagonistic an suspicious, but so loveable. I wanted to win her trust. Leia was just goth mommy vibes (despite not being a mommy) with a great scene right at the end before the rework, but Katie was the person you spent most of your time trying to romance. At least, that's my reasons.

Literally all my ships are L in s1. My top 1 and top 2 girls, Sonya and Nadia doesn't have a lot of scenes but my top 3 Sasha is having a lot of good moments tho <3. My top 4 & 5, Robin and Nancy are just side girls without happy ending

There's a tiny (really tiny) bit more Sonya in the reworks, so she doesn't seem as much on the side, but just quite and introverted. A lot is the way she looks at other characters, and susses them out. You'll have to wait for S2 for anything really significant.
