Yep, always been saying (I'm on record for that) that Bella is THE most, emotionally and morally, rewarding LIs in this game, if not overall, period. She starts out as this crazy bitch, but eventually becomes the most wholesome love story I've read here, hell, maybe ever.

There's an easier way as it's near futile for us modders to keep fighting against the dev and constantly attempting to repair the VN into something it no longer is and will never be again going forward: Just play Ch5 Beta. That's Season One with everything (basically). Done.
If you no longer have it get it from my buddy SonsOfLiberty in his post here. Then DL SanchoMod from it's OP link. That's the best SG you can get at the moment imho (obviously biased).

Yeah, i lked chapter 5 in general but the book club took me out of the character a little. I think is the first time where our Mc acts like a "chad", surrounded by women and saying charming things, but after all Nika is in a situation where he wants to gain power and maybe that´s why he acts like that.The guy on the roof is planning his hit.

Nika is an asshole at the beginning and at the end of chapter five he is a ladykiller with erectile dysfunction. Basically ocean turned it into a walking contradiction.

But yeah, the book club is the thing i like less in the game, even if i enjoyed it i think it doesn´t suit with the experience in general.
There are two things i expect to see in SG:
-Good relationships building
-Realistic interactions and environments
For me SG accomplish those two.
I think the relationships are very well done and are very natural, SG provides characters with differents personalities, characters who you can hate or like. That´s perfect for me.
About the environment it suits perfect with the theme of the game, i saw scenarios with many people, full of details (specially facials expressions) and i aprecciate that because many games about college and this stuff are very empty or have black shadows.
I have always understood the complaints about the removed scenes,of course i would like more the uncesored version but i still finding the game interesting and well done. When Ocean announced the censorhip of some scenes i didn´t like his idea but now i have played it and i still thinking is a good game and he has done a good job.
After all is just my opinion and when i say he has done a good job is a subjetive opinion, like the ones who think he hasn´t done a good job, all is subjetive here my friend, we could speak about the animations or renders quality and i think if we try to be objetive we can agree is a good job, for all the others questions like the censorship or other things is just differents opinions.
Now i´m more worried about how he is going to make the lewd/sex scenes in season 2, i´m so used to not see sex here that when i see it it would be weird
. And i even don´t believe will be sex in season 2, or at least not until the last chapter of the season, i predict blowjobs, handjobs and pussy eating, not many of them but i think some, and the first ones i think will have a bad end, Nika will finish panicking or saying the girl to stop because is not working or i don´t know.

They won't but it will provide the scenes and "patch" the poster I replied to is requesting for current "content" experience. As mentioned all bets are off going forward. See what I mean?

Fair enough. I hear you and a few others, I do. But many (I believe it to be most) OG players that have suffered through all these constant updates (which have been merely cleansing) expect much more than those two things. Although "realistic interactions and environments" is pushing it in this case (imo), but that's your opinion so again, fair enough.
It's like going to Vegas, procuring a hot escort for the evening and after wining and dining she ends up insisting on the night being nothing more than a Bible study.

They don't have to. As baffling as most of Ocean's decisions are, I doubt he will require all players to have a S1 save file to access S2. He will probably provide a sort of prologue for people to jump right in where you just have to pick some major S1 decisions.
I'm personally gonna stick with the beta. There is nothing remotely positive in the Steam version that makes it worthwhile to play over the beta one, imo.

Saying it would be baffling...makes many VN's here baffling then as more than quite a few require saves from previous seasons. Not an unusual decision to take.

Ultimately you can just ask for someone else's save file here or waste 30m of your life ctrl skipping the entire S1 just to have a save for S2. It's not the end of the world and you still won't be forced to suffer through this awful "Teen Visual Novel Edition" of SG.

Well, badik require to have the s2 save to start s3, and it's not a bad idea, the game will not be so heavy.
It's a really good transition between the beta and the final chapter 5. The quality of the renders are getting better with the time. There's a lot of questions still to be answered: what happened to mc when he was younger and was in the hospital with collapsed lungs, what happened to Bella's sister... For me is an amazing game that touch certain topics like depression, trauma, mental health, an the will of the Mc to get better. Yes, I wish it has some sex scenes, but the way the story unfold is great. And being honest, there's a TON of games that just focus only in the sex part with a storyline normal or less than normal.
Like always, amazing work Ocean.

Yeah. I think the OG players who played this a ton years ago are more tied to that version rather than being tied to the newest version that Ocean released. I was never deep into it. I only played it for the dark path. Once that was gone, not much else attracted me to it.
I will never fully understand how the OG players felt and how they feel right now about the current release. I'm playing it after years of not playing it, and that's after the dark stuff. Just going with the flow, letting transitions play out, enjoying the music that goes with each scene, seeing it as Ocean sees it (I guess)
I didn't think about the characters having sex, but I do enjoy Nami's butt. Lots of hints toward Nami and it gives me a bad feeling. The whole hospital scene tho confuses the fuck out of me. If he tried to end his life, why? did Summer leave his ass? cause he doesn't even know what happened to her...
Lungs collapsed? a wrist cut wouldn't cause that and nothing else was mentioned. Anyways.... I haven't seen the old faces with new faces (seeing an old version in one render then seeing a new one in the next render etc) but I am surprised by this... why didn't Ocean fix that before release? seems rushed in many ways.
But so far, liking what I am playing. Since it's fresh for me and the old version isn't tied to my blood.

i feel bella and the MC are kinda like kindred spirits, they are more alike than the other LI, it makes sense for bella and the MC to be together and fall in love, two people from different walks of life coming together finding common ground it's kinda beautiful.
