Wouldn't recommend. I almost got killed one time I tried to use these names interchangeably with a girl I met a few years ago and we weren't even fucking yet

My view of Ocean is different than yours...Typical:
Ocean was looking for an excellent specialist for little-to-no money.
A girl from Russia was looking for a high salary for little-to-no work.
I wonder why it didn't work

My takeaways from this excerpt of the dev log:
* The gf did not want to do the work to earn the money - no mention that Ocean was looking for an excellent specialist for little-to-no money.
If you have a screenshot showing what Ocean was offering her for pay - feel free to post it for the rest of us; I'd certainly like to know.
* As far as an excellent specialist, Ocean was told that she had a background in game design, and he bought her a course in Blender to get her going.
She simply lacked the drive to do the work to build the skills.
Per this same dev log - Ocean lost little due to her unwillingness to learn Blender and apply herself.

I'll write to everyone right away. The topic of Nika’s depression is quite old, there were a lot of disputes, but they ended until a working psychologist intervened in this dispute. This psychologist said that the character is not depressed. When you come to a psychologist, he asks the reasons for your coming, but in the game what is the reason? He was told that the reason for his depression was the disappearance of his beloved girlfriend Summer. In response, the doctor said that if MC had depression, it had long since passed. You can see for yourself how he paws Nami and Victoria’s breasts, reaches into Mila’s panties, etc. This doesn't sound like depression; if he still loved Summer, he wouldn't touch other girls. There were a lot of analysis of scenes and their meaning, I don’t remember everything. As a result, he said that if such a person had come to see him, he would have diagnosed him with PTSD. Since there was never any mention of previous counseling or any type of psychological evaluation we are led to conclude that the MC went on WebMD and self-diagnosed his depression
So this quarrel regarding if he's depressed or not seems to rely solely on opinion. I'm not a doctor so all I can offer is my own opinion. And that is that the MC is kinda all over the place. I'm guessing he has multiple issues like depression, anxiety and PTSD like you said. Because as far as I know his symptoms don't seem compatible with just one issue.
1. A strong traumatic situation occurred in a forest house.
2. Recurring dreams.
3. Memory loss.
4.Reaction to stimulus (eraser in Vicky’s hand).
I don’t understand medicine, so the words of a doctor are more valuable to me than the words of people who like to argue about everything for no reason. I didn't mean to offend anyone, good luck to everyone.

the way I read it, she didn't want to train an unknown amount of time for the possibility of getting a job she might not be interested in. which is honestly understandable

There is no such name as Nika especially unisex! Nika can be used as a shortening of the female Veronika.
Even Niko from GTA was Nik"O" and not Nik"A"!
