Half of these renders are usually in 1 scene and with barely any plot development. It's been always like that.
Sure, and those small changes are what give it a more cinematic feel than most AVNs. That's actually a feature for me, that Ocean doesn't reuse renders; if a dialogue cuts back and forward between two renders, the conversation tends to feel stilted. I like the fact Ocean will render close ups of eyes or lips, the pupils dilating, the change of expression. It helps give a sense of the body language, whether a person really means what they're saying, if the situation makes them feel uncomfortable or if they have some sort of ulterior motive.

I think for this update, there will also be quit a number of optional activities - players who chose to ignore Nia for example, probably won't get as much content with her, different rnders for group scenes if you're on Nami's path (like we already have when she gets upset Nika is flirting if you've admitted you like her back) or Bella's path etc.

Everyone has a different idea of what the plot being developed is, to me it is not any singular LI's path, or the basketball or the criminal activities, the story is Nika coming to terms with himself learning to be a functional member (joke intended) of society. SO I see a lot of plot development. People who want to know about the Zane influence on the college haven't seen much development, people who want just Bella's path want more Bella etc. We're all seeing the game through our own preferences.

When the new update ?
We'll find out more when Ocean releases a devlog, the last one is late because of a planned trip, but *should* be coming soon now he's back home. The devlog *might* give us an idea of when the update could drop. I wouldn't expect anything before next year, and I'd be surprised if he releases anything before April/May for SG, but I think WiaB will be earlier, Feb/March. I'd love to be surprised though, surprise updates are great updates, but they're pretty uncommon; most devs underestimate the time required.

I hope they will include Nojiko to the fucklist :)
...and...
playing ren'py games is like 3 in 1, reading, playing and get horny at the same time XD
...but also...
if you're that horny just watch porn
So which is it?

I am a new fan.
You probably saw that preview from S2E1. I know what you're thinking.

I just want to pound her at least one time right in front of Nick and make him sit in the cuck chair.

Yes, WIAB is the prequel to SG and SG is the sequel to WIAB. :HideThePain:
And SG is the prequel to whichever-girl-dates-Nika's gone, by Nami.

Wanna know before i spend time, does the game have actual sex scenes or are there just teases? i can live with a story slow build as long as it also has the goods. remember i played one that was very popular and slow and it didnt have shit, waste of time.

There will be plenty of activities in SG:

...but not the activity the user above was thinking about. The dev should've kept the previous disclaimer and such questions wouldn't exist.

As long as there is more public handholding, and Karen channels a Bob Ross like calm, I'll even accept more tabeltop shenanigans.

This confused me too lol

I really really hope and think there will never be any lewds with Nojiko. I like that there is a parental figure for once who doesnt want to fuck the people she raises, it makes her a normal and good person.

I always immediately lose any respect towards any parental figures who are interested in that kind of stuff and like Nojiko a lot.

Let her and Nick get happy together and let her have a normal, loving and supporting relationship with Nika ffs

But i wouldnt mind Ayua and her sisters

i'd agreed with you on that ! but it's a shame that all those renders are not followed by good writing , specially after all those re-writings Ocean did.
Maybe for christmas we should give Ocean the the best gift he could ever ask ,"writing for dummies" tomes 1 to 10.

I have this thought that Nika might be a Zane. It might be William's son and her mother is Riri since nojiko is Asian and prolly her best friend.

Well, there's room for improvement, but he still outdoes some native english speaking devs who avoid anything other than monosyllables. Steven KIng is an unfair comparison :coffee::sneaky: I'll put it like this, most AVN's I read the dev's cringe internal dialogue, pushed forward by sock puppets. In SG I really have the illusion that the words are NIka's cringe thoughts or Nami's cringe thoughts (the exception in Sasha's dialogue on the basketball court while stretching, those are Ocean's cringe). So in that sense, Ocean's writing is better at making his sock puppets into personalities than the average (and yes, I know there are also writers who are better again).

THe think that I find crazy, is when Ocean wrote on this board ages ago, his english was pretty fluid, much clearer that what was in the game. I wonder if some of the issues are the people he trusts to proof (I remember delays from one proof reader not getting the script corrections back to Ocean etc).

If Ocean did that is would be very dramatic, but also very bad design:

In a more serious note, I think Riri is meant to be a trap for William set by Leia in WiaB. I'm just going to wait for more obvious clues in an actual update before guessing whether Riri is the mastermind that sent Miru to guide William all those years ago so she could confuse us about her current non presence in SG. Or something. :coffee::sneaky:

But Nika is not asian, he like the most white dude possible with out being your stereotypical Nazi villain, that is Dwight. But I do think that Riri is not just a background character, or maybe Ocean was playing Rebirth and wanted to make a Tifa to William fuck. Thinking about it the two things are not mutually exclusive.

I forgive a lot of Nika's cringe thoughts because he is young but that Sasha scene was a bit tough. Still, even when it is cringe I can see the intent more than the execution. Writting is not easy and Ocean improved a lot.

alot of fans in reddit telling it is william and leia's son too . damn, i just love to spoil myself. there's still a question to myself if nojiko ever told them about their parents identity.
