Only problem thing with Sasha being Nika's guardian angel and knowing everything, is that she recognises Nami's earring, and as a Petrova, she knows whose earrings they were originally (as she has one) ...but she has no knowledge of Nami having a connection and it puzzles her. I'd find it hard to believe she knows Nika's medical history, but doesn't know about Nami's earring (most likely, she carries them for Robin or herself - the time she calms Robin down in the locker room suggests they're not all that stable).
I'm thinking that Sasha's task in this case was to look after Nika and the interest in Nami's earring is her own. She is curious because I bet the woman who gave Nami the earring never told anyone why she did it and what it means.

You forget that I enjoyed Season 1 despite the issues. The mental gymnastics are a way to help me stay awake between updates, you know that :WeSmart:
I envy you Bob. Sadly there is no amount of "Porn Logic" that can save S1 of SG for me. The same way no amount of "Space Magic" can fix the filthy nonsensical unholy abomination of suck that is Mass Effect 3's ending.

Maybe Ocean give us 3 different colored endings
Honestly it seems right up his wheelhouse. Ocean is 100% the type of "writer" to gives us the Arrival DLC, let us watch how the destruction of a single mass relay wipes out an entire Batarian system and have multiple endings where all the mass relays in the galaxy blow up while ignoring the damage that would have caused. Trillions of lives lost, planets and star systems gone for good and all the survivors stranded forever wherever they are. Poor Reapers couldn't even dream of doing 1% of the damage that Shepard did to the galaxy.

Ocean could totally write for Bioware! He is as much of a fan of narrative logic as they are.

I can't imagine that someone stole Leia's earrings and then gave them to Sasha and Nami (*WiaB update drops and Krayt break in and steal the earrings, leaving behind more spiders to sow maximum confusion*). I'm kinda against the whole college being in on Nika's situation like it's the Truman Show though. It is likely that Sasha and Ayua have some sort of idea of what might be going on, but remember that Stefan's sister was(is still?) Katie's gf, and Emilio worked for Leia. If both of those people who were at one point close to the Zanes don't know any Cyrus' or only have the faintest suspicion, the powers that be would tell Sasha everything she needed to know, so that she doesn't alert Nika or Nami to anything going on behind the scenes. But, on the other hand, Sasha is almost like a harbinger of doom reminding Nika he can't escape his fate. :coffee::sneaky:

But yes, there are better games and better logic. I still enjoy cartoons as much as art house films, so....

Blonde, Brunette and Cheeto?

Haven't played WIAB but Emilio did ask Desiree to do a background check on Nika and whether Sasha was indeed tasked with looking after Nika or she has personal reasons, so far it didn't look like she's planning to tell him anything considering that sometimes it looked like she dislikes him.

I'm part of the other camp, I'm afraid. I don't care for Mila or Vic, but if you sign up Maja I'm fully in favor.

I'm mainly thinking of the ppoint where Ayua stops Sasha from interrogating Nami about the earring, which is 100% natural for Sasha to wonder about. She must have seen photos or seen Leia wearing them when she was little, considering the connection that exists between their families (well, in old WiaB at least it was hinted, new WiaB I guess will be much the same about that point ...once we get that far into the story). so she's probably wondering not just why Leia gave Nami one, and whether she's truly a stranger.

Ayua cuts off that questioning, but is that because she knows more? I guess this is why I'm keen to see the scene in Ayua's martial arts studio, I suspect there will be some clues revealed.

I always got the impression that it was more like a Ocean "Fuck you reader" than a Ayua "Fuck you reader" :ROFLMAO: like a basketball could have hit sasha instead of ayua appearing for example too.

It appears strange to me that ayua would watch nami like a hawk the whole day to jump in case sasha and nami randomly talk about the earring ... wouldnt it make more sense to just tell sasha before to not do that?

Interrupting the conversation like that only delays it

More than anything, it seems that Ayua loves bothering Sasha

Honestly I fell that Nika is of less importance than Nami. At least with Nami we have a direct connection with the Zanes by the earring. Nika has nothing but wild theories. Sasha may look at Nika just because she finds him attractive and given that she do not has good experience with males she may be reluctant to act on it. I also think that Ayua was more Ocean teasing than Ayua intentionally preventing Sasha to ask a question. Do not remember but does not Emilio say that Nika reminds him of a woman ?

Well, she wasn't hawk like, but maybe she overheard and though *oh shit* and realised she hadn't told Sasha about that maybe? She'd already seen Nami and Sonya in the locker room, but acts like she didn't notice them, even though she was asking about Nika's size. It's about as logical as Sasha and friends looking out for Nika and preventing the fight with Sai from escalating.

...and they could well have had that conversation while we were looking at the basketball game. Gotta remember that people do gossip while NIka is looking elsewhere - like Sasha's redhaired friend probably spilling the gossip about Bella and NIka being together shopping, or Desiree noticing the reporter incident.

I'm not hung up on this, but it's a bit of an odd moment, and Ocean loves hiding things in plain sight while simultaneously teasing us, knowing we'll get the wrong conclusion. :sneaky:

some people enjoy talking theories bro. it's like connecting the dot or doing puzzle. i never said it's real
All I can tell you is that if you stick around this thread for too long and play both WIAB and SG more than once, your theories will start to diverge significantly from your initial conclusions.

The already legendary Sasha is Summer or Nika is William's son certainly did not come out of nowhere your mind is excited about the new story and creates certain proven theories from elements that seem to fit together without paying any attention to the elements that do not fit

and hence ''look how Sasha looks at Nika in the gym'' ''look how she reacts to Summer's eraser flying in the air'' after some time you will calm down and start to notice that Sasha does not have Summer's moles and has a different complexion than her.
You will notice that all the models of the characters as children are easily comparable to the adult models and you come to conclusions that no surprises like oh my god ''enter the name of the character'' it's Summer will not be there and if she ever appears it will be visible immediately without any mystery.

I know this because I was there in June 2024 when I played both games for the first time. Is there any chance that Nika is not Zane after how Katie acted in the book club, that was one of my posts

It is similar with Nika and William after some time you will start to notice more things that do not fit than they do instead of theories you will simply start to consider possibilities that you take on the basis of certain thought-provoking seemingly insignificant events or lines of dialogue and the rest will be taken on instinct assumptions about what the missing pieces of the puzzle may be that are necessary to understand certain mysteries

And so I can assume that maybe, I repeat maybe, that Nika, if anything, has something to do with Leia and all this based on one interaction with a woman who was at Amber's to gossip with her, which seems to emphasize the significance of Nika's eye color or completely let my imagination run wild regarding the missing, in my opinion pieces of the puzzle in WIAB necessary to understand Cyrus's lineage, inventing that it is all connected to the family of religious fanatics to which Daphne belongs and her bad brother , or simply a man from the dirty work associated with them named Cyrus, who will cause a lot of mess in Zane's family

I disagree, after all the story revolves around him. What's mysterious about Nami besides the earring? Nothing, but there's a lot more regarding Nika both with what he's going through and whatever interest some characters might have in him. The way Sasha looks at him numerous times shows that she, for some reason, dislikes him not the opposite.
