I suspect there will be moments that things get out of control. It might be that Maja regrets and feels guilty afterwards and makes sure never to let anything happen again. We'll just have to see how it's implemented. There's a non zero chance that Maja could be a LI, just like there's a non zero chance for Ayua. Ocean did say there was a scene with Maja in the update. Most likely, it's a side path, and you can ignore that content, just the same as you'd ignore content from other LI's to keep your preferred path safe or not. The proof is not in what Ocean says (as much as I want Maja LI content) but in what we play. We really have no benchmark to compare what Ocean intended (other than our mental head canon) for future events.
