I suspect there will be moments that things get out of control. It might be that Maja regrets and feels guilty afterwards and makes sure never to let anything happen again. We'll just have to see how it's implemented. There's a non zero chance that Maja could be a LI, just like there's a non zero chance for Ayua. Ocean did say there was a scene with Maja in the update. But Ocean's also adamant it's not a dating sim, so even in these cases, he's got a specific part of the story he'll tell by doing it.

More importantly, it shows that there is conflict planned via a cheating mechanism, that players have to take their choices seriously with the consequences.

I guess. Just that is such a shit situation, for the characters but also for the players. Just can't wrap my head around this idea, I would just not mak her lewadble.

I think that it was always clear that cheating was gonna be a part of the story. But in a different way than it is in WiaB. There cheating is central, here seems more like a spice to some paths.

Most likely, it's a side path, and you can ignore that content, just the same as you'd ignore content from other LI's to keep your preferred path safe or not. The proof is not in what Ocean says (as much as I want Maja LI content) but in what we play. We really have no benchmark to compare what Ocean intended (other than our mental head canon) for future events.

Yeah, don't think that the favor would be of the sexual kind, too close to blackmail. But I am curious to what it will be, if i remember correctly at some point Nika says to Bella that somebody owened him a favor that could help them.

I wanted to write: "Rejoice, dark lords, that fragment is still there, untouched since the release of Chapter 2."
But that has changed. Before Steam, there was a hint of how MC planned to cash in on Maja's favor.

The MC talks with Bella about his plans on revenge to Holgersons. Dialogues are from the unpatched versions.

The old dialogue looked like this:

- Bella:"But if you only want revenge for Mila.. why don't you set up something for Mario? Make Nami fuck him and record it?"
- MC: "I would never ask Nami to do something like that! This was my initial plan.. to make him cheat.. not with Nami of course. But.. I changed the plan to his father.. because it would help us both and would hit him much harder."
- MC: "And I have someone who owes me a favor. She'll be useful."
- Bella:"Who is it?"
- MC: "Victoria's friend, Maja."
- Bella: "Okay."

But now it's not that "subtle":

- Bella: "But if you only want revenge for Mila... Why don't you set up something for Mario? Beat the shit out of him?"
- MC: "Again. It's not just about Mila. But we will get her out of there. I don't enjoy this simple shit anymore... I'd like to put some thought into it. I changed the plan to his father because it would help us both and would result in much more devastation."
