What reworks do to a mf...

Who cares about SG right now though? The update for the #1 game should be keeping people busy for the next couple of weeks at least.
Before DIK was updated, I would have guessed WiAB in April... But the way things are going it should be in June.

And with all due respect to Ocean fans, DIK is much more complex to make than SG and WiAB.

Why? Do you think Ocean's going to take time of animations to research how to do freeroams and add them in when he had 1 scene left? :WaitWhat:

I can only imagine the pain that would cause seeing the TT was the least loved part of the game.

I agree but it's not a fair comparison tbh. Going by Patreon analytics alone the other game should be about 15x times bigger than this one. Completely different lanes.

That's exactly why DIK is more complex than SG and WiAB, besides the freeroams there are the minigames and finally the various branches. I'm not telling Ocean to add freeroams and minigames, but I mean that even though Ocean has less work, he still manages to delay his games. :KEK:

True. Even though I still think the tabletop stuff can be salvaged. But Ocean needs to change things up. What we got so far and the way we got it was BAD.

Innovation, implementation and a little pragmatism are key here. It's better to aim for the top of a tall tree and get there than aim to the top of Mount Everest only to stumble down back to base camp...

And I guess since the other dev isn't german he's dealing with less taxes :unsure:

I think about 3000 renders will be path specific in SG S2C1, based on what OCean said about almost every main character having their own scenes ...not saying they're lewd scenes, who knows yet whether there will be anything in Ch1 other than awkwardness? Also, one game compared to two. If you count the rendeds and the time frame since both last released, it's not too bad a comparision.

The best old Miru renders have Helen though, are you sure you'd do that??? :unsure:

At this point, I'm just happy that he's running out of planned scenes. That's good enough pragmatism for me at this point :coffee::whistle:

Well yeah. But if we're talking whether WiaB releasing in the next month or not, it was only the lewd animations left at this point. It's be interesting to see how all that plays out. Only reason WiaB... we all know SG's a longer wait still :HideThePain:

BaDIK is more complex only programmatically. Scene set ups and lighting are much more simplistic, takes less time to set up each scene and likely less or no test renders of the same scene set up.
Which takes considerably less time than the complex scenes that Ocean creates.
Different categories of difficulty and time requirements.

Also, while BaDIK scene locations are already mostly found and used many times, Pinky has little need to find and set up new ones. Ocean is still looking for and setting up new locations for both of his games.

And the codes, I don't remember him mentioning that he finished writing and the codes, I'm still guessing June, do you know why? He's going to drag it out with Steam, it's going to take a long time to be approved, it's going to be that soap opera like SG.

As far at the post processing and coding goes, I guess we'll hear about that soon. Regarding steam for Wiab and SG S2Ch1 - it'll be easier because they're submitted as 18+. Ocean doesn't need to try and get them under any restrictions. SG should be easy, because they've already got SG Season 1, and it'll still be tamer than what 18+ regularly looks like. That'll be a shoe in. WiaB is also pretty tam currently - we'll see what kind of lewds are going to be in ch4, but I can't imagine there will be anything challenging for steam ...provided Ocean's learned from SG Season 1 anyway.

Yeah but the dev is working at two games at the same time, it's not as complex as BaDIK because it doesn't have as many animations or sex animations or a sandbox mechanic but it's a lot of work regardless.

I prefered if he would have worked at one game at the time instead, it could have been much easier and less time consuming.

Unfortunately, Ocean doesn't do photorealism like all developers of similar games, so he doesn't have complex scenes.
