it's fucking disappointment. when he said he'd make two games at same time, we actually didn't believe it he can make it and we realised eventually he will felt burnout and will abandon these games. just like other devs. it's so sad to see that Ocean is just another liar who can't keep his promises and keep lying his supporters again and again. I just stopped my 50 f*cking dollar patreon membership because altough I'm so excited to play those games, at this point I can't see any future of these games. while we don't get an update within 1.5 year development time, how can I believe those 40 episodes SG and 30 episodes WIAB will complete at some day in future...

I guess the collectibles he is talking about is for WIAB, right? Cuz he said CH1 to CH4, but in SG we have 5 Chapters in S1 and 1 chapter in S2.

I would love to have collectibles also in SG tho...

Yes, the collectibles are for WiaB, if you go to the thread you can see the list. SG will have collectibles but in Ch2, maybe he does for Ch1 also has he did for WiaB but only in the next update.

Hello,

New renders created over the past 12 days: 331 (117 for SG)

New SG animations: 2

Current still render count: 5097

Still on the lower side of the renders due to the big scene and finishing touches of the other, about-to-be-finished project.

I've taken yesterday to test the timings for different animations. I have a big whiteboard here and it's now full of animation timings and a few drawings of tiddies.

At first I tested how many frames it really needs to have a good boob jiggle, then I did the same with the ass, hair, thighs, nipple piercings, and ear-rings.

The boob tests gave me a good base to work with. With hair I'm kinda familiar as OG SG players will know.

Anyways, I can probably do 2-3 lewd animations a day now. They take significantly longer to set up, but the detail speaks for itself.

Said knowledge will come in handy as soon as SG needs it.

Extras
With the new Chapter I will introduce collectibles and new viewpoints.

I still have to code it in, create a gallery for it, and render 47 collectible renders. (CH1 to CH4)

It would be weird if the first three Chapters didn't have any to collect, so I'll add them there too.

Collectibles

Collectibles are extra images that you can unlock.

With Season 2 Chapter 2 I'll introduce another sort of collectible. It's awesome but requires a sophisticated design and we're still working on that.

Different viewpoints.
Sometimes the leaf won't unlock a render and instead it shows you a different point of view... and sometimes even behind closed curtains...

As soon as the update is live, I'd love some feedback on those two thingies.

Other stuff:
I've picked up a Python course again. While I never plan to become a first class coder, I'd like to have a base understanding of what's going on.

What led me to do it is that Blender is also based on Python, and while I never planned to create my own addons/scripts, it might be a way to cut down mundane work in the future.

Even something as "simple" as a random-dresser for background characters would go a long way.

I'm enjoying the course, and whatever I learn, I immediately try out in Ren'Py itself. It gave me a few neat ideas. (Hour-long freeroams... just kidding.)

With the S2 CH1, you'll also be introduced to optional fetish routes that you and girl X can develop over time.

Exhibitionism, for example.

I have a neat idea to display this as some sort of a skill tree... I'll preview this in the future to get some feedback on it.

As soon as I'm done with the other project, it will be put on pause until this behemoth SG update is out.

Man, while I love his games and what his vision is, this is getting on my mind. Just stop this viewpoint bullshit and fetishes and skill tree. You can't deliver an update bacause you'll abandon your games if you don't do two things at a same time AND YET, he wants to add piles of bullshit on his project just for what? Increase the times between the updates? In SG who the fuck cares about skill tree and viewpoint shit?

They are separate games, we are following the SG trend and not WiAB! Both games are late with updates and with promises of 2 in 1!

Even if someone argues, "Ocean will make two updates in one" it would be delayed in the same way if it were just a "traditional" update, the issue is not two games but the lack of responsibility towards the supporters, ass-kissers, whatever you call yourselves.

Doesn't really matter how long he's been working on season 2 ch1. Chapter 5 hasn't even been released for a full year, now with WIAB its been over a year, then I could understand then. Even then it's still 2 different games, its not as black and white as you make it to be.

When people find out that Ocean is making 2 games at the same time, they start thinking the same way as you, that these 2 games will not be finished. This is the simplest logical solution that comes to mind, so many, like you, stop donating or do not donate in the first place. Ocean has been told more than once that this scares people away by doing this and that it is better for him to focus his efforts only on one game, and after its completion, make another. But Ocean does not listen to anyone and does everything his own way, this reason for his stubbornness is not clear to anyone. My brain understands that this is a failure and Ocean will not be able to make SG and Wiab at the same time for many reasons. But my heart hopes that Ocean will succeed.

I mean, what do we know? We need an update to both to find out these answers, then we can cross-reference and debate non canon theories pulling material from abandonded pre-rework versions to make astounding conclusions. Gefritzel IS the trouser snake, and Willi is impotent.
