I mean you don't need to like the man or is work, I have many complain about both AVNs, but to negate his quality is just silly. For all his fault Ocean has a unique talent to writing character that plus is quality as a visual artist allowing him to give life to this character is the reason that SG and WiaB has such a fanbase. The plot has just enough mystery to keep one going but in true is nothing that is really breaking the mold, it is very cliche in some places and all the reworks really did not did either story any favors.

It's gonna turn in to a lawyer battle. They'll claim Ocean was evading a platform ban by opening a new one. Ocean/Oceanlab. WiAB got dinged because of Incest, but SG there was never any incest unless i'm remembering wrong. They were both adopted. Not to mention there's zero 18+ scenes lol.

I wasn't paying attention to his Patreon; was he posting updates about WIAB on the Summer's Gone account? It could be that Patreon got wind of that and banned it, since it would be circumventing their ban of the WIAB account.

The truth of the matter is that both WIAB and SG had incest in them back in the very earliest days of their existence and before Patreon cracked down on this kind of content a few years ago. Katie and Leia were the MC's sisters in WIAB and Helen their mother, and in SG Nami was the MC's sister. WIAB also had cousins and an aunt but I can't remember who those were now. Ocean changed those by doing the simple and typical patch thing, changing the script slightly and an "unofficial" patch allowed for it to be put back in quite easily, but more recently he decided to rework both games to make this less easy and essentially try and remove all suggestion these characters are related at all precisely because he was worried about being deplatformed.

Ocean already explained it, when they banned WIAB, they banned him as a person (yes, they are just now letting him know that).

Is there a precedence for "evading" a ban by a creator? even though it's 2 different projects? I can see them banning Ocean if he was actively promoting WiAB, a banned game, on the SG page.

He was not and he has said that he also dosen't know why wiab was banned as it also did not violated TOS. He probably has a case but does he have the money to figth Patreon on court ? At this point I have to wonder if someone inside just don't hate him for some reason.
