Describing something in the past is not against their ToS 'at the time it was banned'. Also, there is no actual stating they did anything...at all...just impied and heresay/gossip.

I know. But you know how it works with Patreon. They don't care. I'm totally sure they don't even look into the content they ban. When enough complains came in or they found something on Discord servers, they just act. Some games were even banned because of fan made mods. I remember there was a game a few years ago where they even argued with tags from F95. Can't say which one anymore because I never played it and just read about it back then, but Patreon does Patreon things. It's a shame though. According to their TOS they had to ban the Bible and Quran because of the content and a lot of work that's considered as world literature. It's modern times and it doesn't help the world is becoming more and more prude.

I'd rather have it abandoned earlier into development rather than it happening halfway through the game when you're more invested, just my opinion.

Yeah, me neither. Let's hope Ocean will be able to work around the ban, and somehow reverse it back so we can get few more chapters. Maybe wishfull thinking but hope never dies, right?

That's a very reasonable opinion to be honest. Definitely agree there, that it would be less "painfull".

They might have actually . Maybe it's really stupid thought, but it could be cause of Ocean was participating in the GOG fight again censorship, with the free games bundle. With how the "bullshit" companies works these days, it might be connected somehow.

Depends how strict SS is on their platform and it might not even be worth it because of credit card crap going on. Who knows, Ocean might just wash his hands of it all too after losing the Patreon paycheque since SS games generally don't do that well. Since I really don't see patreon giving the page back.

Ocean like other Developers broke the rules of Patreon and they paid for it, I'm not a bit surpised can't break the rules of a platform you are on and think you are above those rules, you might get away with it for a while even years but eventually you will get caught like we have all seen, tough luck for Ocean.
