. Maybe it's really stupid thought, but it could be cause of Ocean was participating in the GOG fight again censorship, with the free games bundle. With how the "bullshit" companies works these days, it might be connected somehow.

Probably worded it wrong. He just meant it's a ban of the creator, not because of SG specifically. I'm just curious why it took as long as it did. Not like he went out of his way to hide the fact he was making both games and both were on patreon.

Depends how strict SS is on their platform and it might not even be worth it because of credit card crap going on. Who knows, Ocean might just wash his hands of it all too after losing the Patreon paycheque since SS games generally don't do that well. Since I really don't see patreon giving the page back.So... with patreon gone, can we get Sister Nami back now. Please.

Ocean like other Developers broke the rules of Patreon and they paid for it, I'm not a bit surpised can't break the rules of a platform you are on and think you are above those rules, you might get away with it for a while even years but eventually you will get caught like we have all seen, tough luck for Ocean.

i also remember devs to whom this happened but in my opinion it's complicated situation for both creator and patreon
imagine owning platform like patreon and someone like payment processors is fucking you in ass to not allow certain types of content. otherwise they will shut you down and you will be bankrupt. what would you do? any rational business owner would go with that. so no i don't think patreon plays any role in this in terms of decision making. they are simply forced to do things they might never do if it wasn't for VISA and all this shit companies
at the same time as creator you know what you should and shouldn't do to avoid getting into trouble. but what is your responsibility for when there are million incest patches flying from one side to other? how hard is it to download them, write one email and send it with accusations to patreon? add few threatening sentences about how you will contact payment processors if patreon doesn't ban creator and you just won
people should look at Steam. company like valve is being bullied by payment processors. who would have ever thought that right? if they can get away with shit like that on steam imagine how much manipulation there must be with patreon. it's not about platform. it's same everywhere and will be same as long as you use visa etc

That's the good thing I live in a free country where financial corporations and banks can't just force things onto you and/or end a customer relationship. Not when they're so called "essential". In fact you can even force them to take you as a customer. Consumer rights beats almost everything here. But the home of VISA and Mastercard isn't free I guess.

Well, here they've to act after the local laws and they do. The problem is just that Patreon is based where it is, and that's why Ocean has this problem now. VISA and Mastercard couldn't do shit against Patreon here. As long as Patreon don't do things against local laws. But to be fair, it's their law there and Ocean, and every other creator on Patreon, has to respect that when they make an account there. It sucks, because personally I like SG and WIAB, but Ocean knew the TOS.
I think this has to be some type of error due to the fact SG does not have any lewd scenes in at all. Once it get resolved I am pretty sure the page will come back on Patreon.
