Ok development times aside, you do realize he's been making drastic changes to both games for years now to ensure this sort of thing would not happen, right? It's not like he didn't know how fickle the tards at Patreon are. It's not like he didn't know what is allowed or not. He knows and has been actively trying to remain compliant...at the cost of the overall product quality, imo.It was already going to be 2 years in December and he had no day job He had no excuse then. So now he has to get a day job so that will be his new excuse for it being years for a update kinda ironic don't you think.
Either way some people can fly under the radar for years and never get caught but there are those that if someone blows the whistle it's all over. He sould have learned from WiaB ban but he didnt so he has his own self to blame, He thought that because Summer's Gone incest with Nami and Nika being Adopted brother and sister he was safe.
He clearly did not ever read the terms of service of Patreon because if he did then Patreon is not to blame but he is. It is not hard to understand obey the rules or be made the example ,We all see what path he wanted to take so I find it kinda funny everyone thinks they are untouchable until they find out they arent.
I've been a harsh critic of these changes for years even though I understand the need for them because to me, the quality of the AVN comes first. Now this shit feels like a double fisting because not only does he not get to release the game how it was originally intended, he now doesn't get to release it at all on what has historically been his most profitable platform.

Looking on the positive side of things- no more fucking tax updates.
On the negative side of things- Game is probably dead
On the cynical side- Ocean has been slacking these last 2 years and the update is nowhere near 8000 renders and we will never see an other update

Unfortunately, I also think that's it for Ocean Labs games.
At some point, the momentum just runs out.
But despite all the discontent and grumbling here, Ocean Team has delivered two incredible milestones.

SG is too big of a cash cow for Ocean to abandon though. He'll probably set-up Subscribestar for it like he did with WiaB and that'll be the end of it.
If anything it should light a fire under his butt to get S2 out on Steam asap so he can recoup some of the money he'll lose from Patreon in the next few months - before SS catches up to the numbers he had there.

If Ocean Patreon page is not coming back he needs to move all his supporters to Subscribe star. That way he can still have his monthly recurring income so that he can work on his game.

Another dev log another problem, I swear this is game is cursed or something. Not that it was ever going to be completed, but I would have liked to have at least a few more updates. If he can't work on the game full time, he might as well just abandon it at this point, development is slow as fuck as it is.

He is almost there and there is only one way to boost his income apart from getting his account back which is releasing S2 it will be good for subscribestar too
