Not exactly, Blender is just a more powerful tool for rendering, I know what it does in a general manner, but never worked with it. You can expect even higher quality once he starts using Blender, I don't know about update times.

Can't tell you for sure, but I would say the 2 things that are holding him back the most are the fact that he's working on 2 games at the same time and he doesn't have all the upgraded technology that he needs for faster rendering, etc.

That doesn't mean anything. The 3090 is a gaming GPU, not one made for rendering in the quality that he does. It's a good GPU for smaller budget games that don't have as much quality, that's why you have GPU's like the RTX A6000 which are specifically made for rendering only due to their large amount of memory.

Yeah that's what i thought too, my thought is you have to do bella route but don't kiss her on the date so that she will still tease you in school. But the thing is did you know how to not kiss Bella? She kinda started it.

The game is designed as a slow build. and half the fun is the story. what should happen? should the girls and everyone fall around their necks for no apparent reason? I think that it will take at least 2 updates before the first sex. Okay, you're losing patience. But compare it with AWAM. The game has been in development for over 4 years. And still offers next to nothing. We are already significantly further in development here.
SG and WIAB are set in the same universe and apparently there's going to be three more games coming after those two. As per the last episode it's looking very likely that WIAB's story takes place around 20 years before SG, since Ayua is pretty much confirmed to be the daughter of the MC from WIAB and his girlfriend, Miru.

SG has always been his story. But the game only started development when a friend of his wanted to do it. So he gave him the story. This friend helped produce the first chapter and later for some reason abandoned the project. So Ocean picked it up. Took us a whole year from chapter 2 to 3.
I totally understand your point. The longer a game is in development, the more likely it will not be finished as life happens. But hope is all we can do. And he has shown over and over he is putting his life into this. So I don't see anything short of a life emergency putting a hold on development.
By the way, just so you know, there are 5 games planned in the same fictional world. I think he calls it the Zane world, which is the surname of the MC in WIAB. Katie Zane was also mentioned in this update by Ayua, which is WIAB MC's little sister. Up to current version of the game she is best girl by far. But, with the new version, I am giving everyone a chance.
in the last half chapter, according to Ayua, someone called Katie Zane is her auntie? WTF!!! Maybe THE Katie Zane from Where it all Began? If so that means Summer's Gone happened after Where it all Began, not too long after but long enough for Ayua to have been born and grown up and for Katie Zane to have married one of Ayua's mother's brothers... unless Ayua is the daughter of the MC from Where it all Began... or Leia Zane's daughter from Where it all Began... or... and get this... the daughter of Leia Zane AND the MC from Where it all Began, which is unlikely to the point of impossible based on Ayua's looks.
(As things stand my bet is that Ayua is the daughter of the MC and Miru from Where it all Began.)

Also Ayua might have been fostered or adopted by the MC or by Leia Zane from Where it All Began, or be a child belonging to their partners before they hooked up. (Biological or adopted.) Ayua does not need to be an actual blood relative of Katie Zane for Katie to be her auntie.
Very interesting to see Katie's name mentioned explicitly in relation to Ayua as an auntie though. Katie was only a young girl in Where it all Began but could have reached middle age when the events in Summer's Gone take place. It's impossible to tell at present; all we can do is guess. Damn tantalising and interesting though.
For a second replaying the whole game this time I wondered if maybe it was Sonya.
It would explained why they family left Iran, which she does not want to say, and it would be cleverly hidden under "a religious" thing. That is, she not doing swimming could be actually because she is trans, but hidden in the plot because she is muslim.

To my knowledge intersex or trans is quite rare in the Middle east, and if that did happen the families rush to treat it abroad specifically but I'd have to ask around to see if that changed in the last 7 years as they've become tolerant and accepting of differences and various difficulties in the society.

I'm in the same boat as you, not sure if I'll live long enough to see it completed. Even though I really like this game, I keep questioning if I should even bother continuing to play it.
It was a quality update, as usual from Ocean! I liked almost everything a lot: more time from the existing cast, some characters design being a little improved, and new plots and new characters being introduced to expand the horizon of possibilities. Only the ending left a little bitter taste in my mouth as it made one of my favorite characters do something I really disapproved of. Overall, that remains the game with the highest production values on this website. That being said, my doubts about the future of the game are not assuaged in the least, one half chapter in 6 months isn't anywhere near enough to have any sort of reasonable time to release the 30 chapters. That's one chapter a year, with 26.5 chapters remaining. Do the maths.
The Date was ineffective in their long mission but it was a success in getting them together, that is if you weren't a cold hearted monster and deny being a good team !
Nami has burried feelings which she needs to come to terms to and express them and deal with the aftermath, her deteriorating relation with summer was a cause of this and who know what else she did in her jealousy, Amber suspects something as well.
Sonya parents are too controlling, this is usually something parents do to appease society they live in or their own personal faults, I question Oceans choice of her background and drama regarding her as I am quite familiar with it but I call BS on many other thing and I'm sure he won't do her justice given the broad subject matter.
Mila is underdeveloped at this point and quite frankly most are besides Bella and Nami.
Victoria is too sweet and as they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, while her demeanor is sweet the fact that she doesn't stand for anything like Mila does with sexwork is troubling as you have to see the good and bad of something else you'll harm yourself
I don't get the thing with sasha,Zara and other yet so I'll wait and see since I like to see where the Dev is going.
Something to note is that Ocean is not great at handling many characters storywise, the fact that we have gone into 3.5 Episodes and Bella has come out on top with only Nami coming in second while the rest aren't as fleshed out is a sign of his current limit of storytelling, I do hope this increases,since it'd be a waste.
I spent 7 hours with breaks and dinner in between,as I just had to sit through some moments enjoy the beats and play with the choices, all the while the first half had me giddy. Truly a wonderful first date with Bella. ♥‿♥ and the amazing laughs in between, if I wasn't convinced to support him before, he thoroughly convinced me now he is worth investing into, should you have the spare change that is.
I'm so conflicted. Mila is such a fucking sweetheart and I want to commit to her path, but at the same time Bella- and I hate saying this because usually I hate girls like her (in games and real life)- but fuck is she irresistible. There's something about the way she's written, maybe partly because she and the MC are so weirdly perfect for each other that's just hard to resist.
Bella is leading in terms of popularity as she had the longest development so far story wise, pairs well and she's genuine in her actions, unlike most women !. Milla is in the backbench for now but we'll see where this goes mostlikely she'll have more time as they get into the dorms/houses.
