To be fair, it's not like Steam hasn't banned games for pretty bogus reasons if they had risque or lewd content, and even some cases where the games didn't at all. Granted, the main issue, at least in many of these cases, it was because the developers or publishers didn't want the Adult Only tag which would limit visibility and block certain companies from purchasing so refused to add it to their game submission for review. As long as Ocean doesn't try to avoid the Adult Only tag, things should be fine.

Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what's going to happen. Definitely. I truly believe Steam is going to censor thousands of games, including AAA games like The Witcher, Baldurs Gate 3 and etc because they have nudity and sex in them. Definitely. Yep. It's going to happen. 100%.

i believe by the time ocean fully releases season 2 to steam with nudes and sex and all that jazz and i'm saying that when summers gone season 2 is completely done just like season 1 which will be serveral years from now like 5 years probaly, steam will have changed it's views on nudes and sex in AVNs because patreon is just the beginning of the PC police on platforms for AVNs. thats just my opinion on how things are changing in the gaming world the PC community is powerful. you can't have certain words in games now and incest and it's only beginning.

Almost every AAA AVN on this site with very risque (questionable) lewd content is on Steam with zero issue, making gobs of monetary gain which Steam gets a cut of. You know this, right? I still don't believe this has anything to do with Steam at all... but that's opinion, I'm just expressing it.

i have one AVN game on steam and this deveolper in on patreon and i don't know how in the hell he hasnt been banned on patreon as of yet and he has been on there for at least 4 years now and his game is full of all kinda of lewd and risque content like i would have thought he would be gone in no time but as of now he is making his 2nd game with about if not the same kind of risque lewd content as the first, it's kinda crazy but hey i'm happy he is still making AVNs like that and getting away with it.

i just think and correct me if i'm wrong but the patreons that support ocean with $3 to $100 dollars a month sould get a better version than the supporters on steam with their one time payment of $15 thats just how i think so take it how you like.

i heard the saying things always are worst before they get better, well i've been waiting for things to get better year after year and they havent, the censorship is getter more oand more out of hand as time progresses.

There's an easier way as it's near futile for us modders to keep fighting against the dev and constantly attempting to repair the VN into something it no longer is and will never be again going forward: Just play Ch5 Beta. That's Season One with everything (basically). Done.

If you no longer have it get it from my buddy SonsOfLiberty in his post here. Then DL SanchoMod from it's OP link. That's the best SG you can get at the moment imho (obviously biased).

Am I the only one with this problem? All new 2150 renders are showing this. Is the file corrupted or is it my PC. Would appreciate any help. Also the download file in the server is showing as 10.3gb but m download is showing 9.52gb, both normal and torrent download.

it goes back to the point of money over principal, you can have money but if you dont have integrity and respect from your fellows then you have nothing ,your reputation will be ruined and all you will have left is only your money nothing more. yeah you made a quick buck but at what cost.

But, like you and others regarding this whole several years of ordeals I still must respect the dev's decisions even if I don't personally agree nor care for them. This is entirely his project, his creation, so he certainly has every born right to do as he pleases with it. That's the best olive branch I can offer though. The fundamentals of his actions are questionable in my opinion as well, but he certainly has every right to it. I believe it to be one of the worst possible course of actions that can be made by a developer of any media.

Maybe he pulls off the impossible over time, it's going to be one hell of a long-hard road from here though for success... again, my opinion. I'd never pull such shenanigans on my clientele in my career tbh. There's a reason I was able to early retire in my 40's... so what the fuck do I know?

Pretty sure it was mentioned here that he kowtowed to music license holders. He got rid of some of the most adult content in order to keep the music licenses he had purchased. That and the rating. He was aiming at a lower age rating on Steam so that he could sell the game to a wider audience.

yeah but it makes 0 sense to change your game due to music. No one gives a shit if the music changes, they really dont even if its the songs they like. Not at the expense of neutering the game itself.
