No you are 100% correct, hes gimped the actual release from the C5 Beta and its clear that hes selling out for $$ rather than continuing to develop the game as he originally intended in order to get more $$. I can't fault him for being a capitalist, but it sure seems poised to make the game a lot worse/less interesting than what it could have been imo.
Am I the only one with this problem? All new 2150 renders are showing this. Is the file corrupted or is it my PC. Would appreciate any help. Also the download file in the server is showing as 10.3gb but m download is showing 9.52gb, both normal and torrent download.

it goes back to the point of money over principal, you can have money but if you dont have integrity and respect from your fellows then you have nothing ,your reputation will be ruined and all you will have left is only your money nothing more. yeah you made a quick buck but at what cost.

But, like you and others regarding this whole several years of ordeals I still must respect the dev's decisions even if I don't personally agree nor care for them. This is entirely his project, his creation, so he certainly has every born right to do as he pleases with it. That's the best olive branch I can offer though. The fundamentals of his actions are questionable in my opinion as well, but he certainly has every right to it. I believe it to be one of the worst possible course of actions that can be made by a developer of any media.
Maybe he pulls off the impossible over time, it's going to be one hell of a long-hard road from here though for success... again, my opinion. I'd never pull such shenanigans on my clientele in my career tbh. There's a reason I was able to early retire in my 40's... so what the fuck do I know?
yeah but it makes 0 sense to change your game due to music. No one gives a shit if the music changes, they really dont even if its the songs they like. Not at the expense of neutering the game itself.

Your installation is fubar'd. Delete the entire install (the VN's folder/directory) and simply extract the contents of the VN's zip. Don't do anything else but start it. Keep it clean, keep it simple, and you'll be fine.

i also retired before the age of 40 but i didnt have to do questionable things towards others to retired at the age i did, i never broke the law and still today have no criminal record in any database of the police, and i have enough money to live very well and have been and i didnt have to decieve and go the way of manipulation to get ahead in life. i choose integity over a quick buck.

I think the steam version and patron version is the same now unsure if the link in the thread was updated when steam got updated however.

Obviously, anything can happen, but I find it very unlikely. As I mentioned before they would have to censor thousands of games and that would not go down well with players, especially when it comes to better known games.
As for the incest thing, as far as I know it's a pretty isolated case. I don't think I need to elaborate more about why that's a case.
I don't know, maybe I just don't care enough, I guess? I mean, it would be different if there was a whole sex scene removed because of steam, but that's not the case. An argument can be made that if it wasn't for steam there could have been scene with Bella in chapter 5 and I'm not refuting that. It was really dumb and the fact that the MC didn't try anything didn't make any sense. No one is complaining about this anymore though, it's all been about the lack of nipples these past few days.
As far as this rework goes though, personally, I haven't seen anything that was reworked/removed that would ruin the story for me, and I find some of the examples that people have been bringing up quite ridiculous to be honest. Ridiculous as in not worth losing sleep over. None of the changes make any fundamental difference story wise, and at the end of the day everything flows nicely into chapter 5.

i just can't believe the steam players that pay $15 one time are being treated the same as iike the patreon players that pay monthy on going thats just wrong to me maybe it's the way i was raised who knows.
but as it is it's way better to just pay $15 one time and not monthy if you are getting the same product thats good for the steam buyers if they want to be smart with their money, i just feel bad for the patreon supporters i think they are being treated shitty, or is being fair wrong today ? but if patreon supporters are ok with that practice and they think it's just fine to have the same product as steam players then who am i to say anything, more power to them. as ocean said steam and patreon is the same no differance but i belive they sould be different in terms of the kind of support players give, if you pay more you sould get more. it's like if i give $5 i get the same as you that give $100, is that fair. ?
