These Christmas treats are great. It makes me wonder about the Halloween wallpaper sets, though. I have one set for Bella and Sasha, but I recall him planning a lot more than that. Did he change his mind or did I somehow miss them?

Yes. But if you're playing with the uncut mod, that uses renders that were discarded.

There was a point where Ocean realised he couldn't keep trying to improve things, because it was just getting too complicated. If you want a rude shock, go play the ch2 version from way back. Chapter 2 was some of the last renders to be replaced in the full season 1 release.

Chapters 1 and 2 have the newest graphics, as they were reworked between last year and May of this year. Chapters 3, 3x5, 4 are a year or two older. Chapter 5 came out late last year. So, yeah, the quality bounces from chapter to chapter.

Most things in the game are far closer to second than the first now. If Ocean can churn out 50 renders a night, it would be 240 days of continuous renders to redo everything, without considering the adjustments he'd make. I think it's okay to move on, maybe at the end of the series where we're all in nursing homes, Ocean can do a directors cut, but I'd rather he spent those 240+ days making new images now

Give it a once over, bring it all up to the latest "canon", clarify the relationship between Nami and the MC from the start and then passing it along to a native English speaker to tidy up grammar stuff. Then release it as a small patch to the completed S1.

Don't even think it would delay the development at all and it would do wonders for people like me who exercise common sense when reading any story.

This is a different thing, and as you say could (and should) be done. Whenever there's a grammar issue noticed etc. But I kinda feel that horse has bolted. The clarification will arrive when it arrives. I doubt Ocean will announce he's changing the script to season 1 when season 2 ch1 arrives, or when WiaB drops on steam. It'll just happen stealthwise ...or it'll not happen because Ocean gets distracted by all those big boobs. At least Mila's looking more plausibly human in the treats, that's a nice touch.

But regards the graphics quality of the renders, I well and truly thing we're past the point of diminishing returns. Some of the changes already sabotaged your favourite scenes, so I'd hate Ocean to want to add 4 renders, and suddenly spend 240 days bringing the remainder into the same colourgrading etc.

The problem is that she looks better in the treats than in game so far. In game her breast look like their enamelled bowls, and sometimes her dimples make me think she's about to go full yandere in her job moonlighting as a murderous clown.

I know that she'll look better in season (because the remade parts of S1 were better) and her character is actually great, if if a bit too sweet. I think I'm more worried Ocean will make her into some sort of cliche'd innocent angel.

The other problem is that she is always able to walk in treats. Does this mean that Ocean will do lewds ignoring her condition? Or will the first time Nika impales her in Chapter 20 (or whenever), will it be like he is the world's best chiropractor, and her spine is miraculous fixed by the straightness of his godcock (after his miracle recovery to be suddenly a horny eighteenager)?

These are questions that we need answered! We needs to know!

I totally agree about the devoted part of her, but also her non dressy, get things done approach (as compared to all the other girls except Nami looking like they're competing in aphoto shoot), and her cynicism (probably the wrong way to describe it, she has a darker edge, even though she's freaked out by Nika at the start). As you say, Ocean's really written her well, and it's completely understandable. I think something to be said for Ocean is that so far there are a lot of really well written characters with well thought out personalities who aren't LI's. Few devs spend time giving side or background characters their own personality. Like the twins, or Eva, they have their own thing going on, we can find them hilarious or annoying, but they don't feel like an afterthought.

There are other things in the plot that feel like an afterthought from time to time, but the characters really do shine.

And I agree, it'd seem ridiculous for Ocean to make renders of Vic walking/standing etc if she's going to be in a wheelchair the whole time. I'd imagine for the healing theme, there will just be slow improvement (like going to the gym would be for anyone but Nika) to show that Nika has taken his promise to help her seriously.

I hate the idea of given Maja scenes and do not make her a LI, in the later there is a story to be told in the former she just fucked her sister crush for no reason. Just don't sits well with the character in my opinion.

Yeap, Ocean has his flaws and we debate them here, but the man does knows how to write characters and is not a easy thing. The only reason that I am here is this, others AVNs has incredible characters but I still did not come across with ones like in SG.

I really like and respect Ocean and his work, and I don't wanna thread old grounds. But there is no way that a viable explanation to Nami and MC exists, he may even give one but I have to agree with RNASC4444, for it to make sense S1 would need to be rewrite. Otherwise any person who is doing anything beside looking at the pretty picture will found strange, MC and Nami does not make sense in S1 whatsoever.

You're counting incorrectly. Ocean has at least 2 PCs. On one he creates scenes, on the other he renders. If one PC can only render 20-50 frames at night, then the other PC is completely free and can render both day and night. In general, there should be 80-200 renders per day.

If Ocean said he can only do 50 a day, then that's the speed I'm quoting, not the potential of what is possible, but what is the current turnaround. I don't want him to spend another 240 days rendering old scenes in any case, I think we can leave that for the director's cut when he's bored after finishing.

Sooner or later it should happen, not a true rework, but as you have been commenting, maybe adjust the script before subsequent seasons make what seems “weak” fall directly into plot holes or deux ex machinas.
