Yeah, and Nika's discussion with Nami about needing to be truthful with Amber shows exactly what you've pointed out. I don't believe he's lied to Amber, I just think he's avoiding certain parts of the story, leaving things out. It's been two sessions though, that's not much to build up a patient's trust or a tell a complete life story for therapy. BUt as he said to Nami, he has to be completely honest with Amber if it's to work and that means going back on the deal he made with Nami back then.

Last devlog, Ocean showed there's something like 2100 still renders left out of 7000. He hasn't set a maximum, but that was based on an earlier log where he mentioned 6000-7000 renders as the total size. But he's also mentioned it might be as much as 8000. But I think 7000 is more likely. Ocean's current average is 65 renders a a day if he has them all set up, but half of those will be for WiaB. ANd maybe he'll push to get WiaB done, so lets assume 30 of the renders are for SG. The earliest we could get an update would be 70 days of rendering, plus postwork.

THere's probably a month worth of work after all the renders are complete, so the earliest is most likely in 100 days time, around three months. I'd be happy to be wrong, and find out it's tomorrow, but I don't think that will happen.

You are conflating Nika's dream at the beginning with his bona fide memories in the flashbacks.

Nika can't control his dreams, and you should know like the rest of us than dreams can contain some real funky shit that bear no resemblance to reality, past or present.

So, no one is saying Nika's memories are unreliable, other than Nika not telling Amber the whole truth yet during therapy.

There are fantastical elements in Nika's dream, plus it seems to present a reality where two kids casually walk to a cabin six-hours drive away by car (this latter point could be a plot hole, we just don't know yet). It's future therapy with Amber that will likely provide a more factual context to everything that happened during the "cabin incident".

Even DPC has given a date of release meanwhile Ocean is busy thirsting over his new workstation.

I know for a fact that even with the WS, there won't be any change in thr update schedule, it will still be 1 and in best case scenario 2 update a year.

So what? DPC giving a date has nothing to do with Ocean's development cycle. Oh no, dev that normally spits out one update a year will continue to produce one update a year.

I think Nika needs to tell the ladies that like him that his dick don't work and that they need to pursue Jeff i'm sure he would take care of the ladies better than Nika since Nika is caught up with his childhood sweet heart and can't focus on the hot asses in front of him ,he sould leave them to a better man that doesn't have ED.

. Then you can build your own mac version from any PC version of the game. Saves me a lot of time on this forum. I can't remember which I downloaded here, but the steam version works on M series amcs, and the compressed here works on my older intel mac.

So it can be yours to play

Edit: Also, newer macOS has aggressive blocking of downloaded files. Try holding control while right clicking, and open from the file menu, cancel the first time, then do it again and open anyway. Depends on which version.

If you build from the PC version, it's open without that annoyance.

Try the right click thing I mentioned - hold control, right click then open, cancel moving it to the trash. Then hold control, right click open, and open anyway. This is maybe not true on Sequoia, Sequoia is a bit more frustrating with security.

Get to know renpy, it will save you a lot of frustration here.

You probably haven't read Ocean's latest log? Wiab is almost ready, there's 1 scene left to do, it'll take a couple of days, and then post-work. So all 65 renders a day you're talking about will only be for SG. If Ocean renders for 70 days, we'll get an additional 4550 renders.

Maybe so, but I think it's more likely that Ocean would continue to split focus between SG and the next chapter of WIAB.

Exactly - Ch4 for WiaB is still early access on steam. WiaB's full season will be after chapter 6 I think I read? So OCean is likely to keep both stories cooking rather than play favourites at this point. Slowing either for the sake of the other will create more problems later down the line. That's why I'm assuming the renders will stay pretty equally split for the foreseeable future.

Well, I am saying that NIka's flashbacks are unreliable. Nika has trauma, and we don't know if he's masking things just to cope. Ocean can completely retcon all we know from the flashbacks. The only things we know are mostly reliable are the things that he, Nami, Noji and Nia agree on. Those things have a second witness. SO we know there's an officer Larverne, we know that there's a stuffed giraffe, we know Nika went back to school after the cabin, we know about the violent incident. But Nika's explanations to AMber are not reliable, because he confirms it with Nami when walkign with her at Vic's sleepover.
