ok, so lest change it a little then, lest not focus around the sex there is no winning there. Would u say we are close to the end of the game? i mean wasnt last update when he introduced all the "cougars" roster? ... we are close to 6 years and Ocean is still presenting us the characters. If this is a porn game, then once Nika gets cured of his... "problem" that would be the time when the real game start, no? so... we got 6 years for the "introduction" and btw Nika´s problem is still there, so we may have 2 more years of "introduction" well...at this pace ,more like 3 or 4 xD

Yeah, we all know development of this game is slow. Those of us who have been around since that disclaimer first appeared knew exactly what we were in for - back then, SG had a long time between updates well before long development cycles became the norm with AVNs.
Those of us who have been around also witnessed the reworking of SG from its original form, a long and drawn out process that concluded for the most part when Season 1 was released.
Personally, I'm gonna wait until Season 2 Chapter 1 is released to comment because the proof of the pudding is in the tasting.
People focus on the whole 30/32 chapter thing. We all know that Original Intent + Long Development Cycle = No realistic completion of this AVN. However, we haven't had clarification on that in years. For example, will S2E1 align with Ocean's original intent and comprise but one of those 30-odd "original chapters" or will it actually comprise multiple "original chapters"?
BTW, by the developer's own admission, SG is not a porn game. Its a story with porn elements.
F95 is like a box of chocolates. There are games for those who enjoy a well-presented story and games catering for those who simply have a need to wank their turtle.
SG is one of many slow-burn AVNs here. It's also one of many that prioritizes story over sex scenes. It's not even the best written one, and, of course, it has one of the slowest development cycles. For all it's faults, SG remains one of the best presented audio-visual AVN experiences available on this site.
As a what if: Ocean could have continued his original story at the original render quality and level of writing (both were arguably reasonably mediocre) and all but completed the game by now. Would the game be memorable? I don't know. I think by today's standards, it would've been quickly forgotten.
PS - I don't mind people who want an honest debate, even although we've covering ground and opinions thrashed out and rehashed countless times in this thread over the years. I also don't mind those that don't like anything about SG (although, personally, I don't waste my time in threads of games I have no interest in). However, there are endless one-liner trolls who come and go in this thread, and they're reasonably easy to spot.

Developers aren't 24/7 robots, especially over holiday periods. On what planet do you trust simpleton math? Just because he started work on S2 in November 2023, doesn't obviously mean he was pumping out "30 renders" a day on Season 2 since then. The S1 Steam release occurred six months after the date you chose to make your calculation on. If you want to present some math, establish how many SG S1 renders Ocean did between November 2023 and May 2024, then look at his WIAB tally difference between November 2023 and now, then look at his SG S2 tally, then deduct days solely rendering animations, and then deduct days for performing the myriad of other tasks required to publish an AVN. Even that is a fairly rudimentary set of criteria to pass judgement.
Come back with a realistic and well-considered comparison that takes the above into account along with the developer getting some time off over those 447 days.

Oh and there were what, 50 renders because of all the christmas and halloween treats? I can't be bothered counting them.
This means as of Feb 12th, Ocean did around 10749 renders that he's happy with between the release of SG Ch5 Beta and Feb 12th. It's hard to say for certain, what happened when (because of release dates) as Wiab Ch3 was released Dec 24th, so there is a month's worth of older Ch3 WIab renders in there as well.
So let's say 25th Dec 2023 - 12th Feb at 30 total a day (for 415 days), plus Dec 1st 2023 to Dec 24th at 15 renders (24 days), because that can account for the WiaB Ch3 renders between , for a total of 12810 renders possible at max speed. The dude's allowed two christmas christmas holidays in that time, so let's take off a fortnight for each (840 renders as both holidays are in the 30 render timeframe), so a total of 11970 renders.
That means Ocean's missing around 1221 renders. Except there was more than 40 days of time spent dealling with steam, backwards and forwards. Or finding new music. Or getting hardware leases. But cool, let's assume Ocean is just a rendering machine and he has a secretary who collects all his receipts for taxes.
This means ocean was working to 89.8% of his stated capacity. That's not much of a smoking gun you've got there other than pointing out people aren't machines. How many devs have done almost 11,000 renders in that time, not including renders he's re-posed because he wasn't happy with how they turned out? This assumes he got all the posing and grading right every time. And the last ~10 days (Feb 2 - Feb 12?) were also at ~65 renders per day, but there were at least two days of transferring over computers where no renders were likely done, but I'm not going to attempt to factor those numbers in, I've spent enough time working this much out. Edit: the speed increase from the new workstation means ~371 renders are bonus, so if we discount that change, Ocean's at 86.7% efficiency.
Anyway, what else do we have to do while waiting?

You probably forgot how Ocean promised to release a chapter by the end of the year, but he himself did nothing, while writing in his logs how hard he works. He did the same last year and the year before. Therefore, your calculations cannot predict the work done.
I know Nami fans gonna kill me but I think she might be somehow involved in her disappearance/accident, she introduced Summer to MC and instantly regretted on the second slide, and we can see it happening to Bella too bcuz even on Nami's route you'll interact with Bella(similar to acting lessons).

I just want an update with a story continuation, I don't care about needing to understand the game, there hasn't been any real progress for a year or so already...
That's a big unknown at this point, but definitely possible.
There are a series in incidents alluded too from Nika's past - Summer's disappearance, the "violent incident," and whatever Nami did that she and Nika agreed never to reveal. We just don't know how all these incidents fit together or if they're even related.
Having said that, I doubt Nika would be close to Nami if he knew she was directly involved in Summer's disappearance, given the psychological toll it's had on him.
Hell, for all we know, Summer's disappearance is inspired by MH370, and a similar fate befell Summer and her parents during their holiday.
