I don´t like it but you are right... This new chapter could be the grave or the impulse for Ocean´s work. Anyway i still thinking he is going to achieve his goals, and if i´m not wrong he has always said this new chapter is going to be really good for people who expect lewd content for real (blowjob? Handjob? Thigh sex?).

We will see.

For now i choose to believe, but my wallet is worried

Hello,

Newly created and rendered scenes in the past 12 days:
461 images + 6 animations.
190 of them were for SG.

Current render count:

SG: 4790 -> 4980 (+190)

It's fewer renders than before, but that's simply because I'm working on a scene with 45 people in it. Immersion is important, so I do have to pose all visible characters every few renders.

I can render around 30 of these giant scenes a night.

I'm about to finish the rendering process for a different project. Afterward, I'll focus entirely on SG - S2 Chapter 1.

I've built a decently sized SFX and ambient sound/drone library. In my "free time," I'm also working on a simple ambient song.

My designer and I have come up with a fantastic idea for some in-game collectibles.

However, I already have so much to do that they must wait for Chapter 2.

The queue didn't run for two days because I had scenes with 34 visible people, which were too big for the A6000s.

It was the fault of a G9 character that, for some reason, used up 11GB alone. I had to re-open all of them and adjust the settings, but the queue is working again.

I took the 23rd partially off because we had elections in Germany.

Around 10 more days until SG gets 100% render priority.

I thought I would just use a random number, and whatever it lands on, I'll show for a preview. 4K attached.

I was randomly listening to some older songs the other day, and Mazzy Star's - Fade into You came on, and it gave me the idea for a Treat set down the line.
It is a retro themed set, and because it would heavily rely on editing, I did a little test with Bellchen.

I'll prepare a small retro Treat for the release of Season 2 CH1. It will be released together with the Noji Treat.

Dev should take a course in scene rendering optimization because what tf would the reason be to have 34 characters on the screen at the same time in the same render?! And even if it was, I doubt more than 7 would be on focus while the rest can be rendered out of focus in the background or something, probably a club or sport match scene.
Not even AAA game devs fully render models when they are in a large number.
Now I understand why updates take more than a year to be done because the dev has no ability to optimize scenes and renders it seems. GG

I am curious with the preview. Seems like is at Nick's house, I just can not think of a reason as to why one the twins would be naked at his house, it reminds me of the first previews with Zara and Nadia.

I've dealt with them before they love them some Ocean and summer's gone, it does not matter how long a update takes it could be 2 years like some other AVN's have taken to come out with a update. Ocean can do whatever he wants and his fans will make it seem like the best thing since peanut butter and jelly, it really amazes me the level of devotion his fans have it's not like they get a update every 3 months or 6 months but it's a year and so many months in between and we don't get a lot of story progression for the amount of time we wait thats my issue but hey if they are happy then i'm ecstatic for them.

I think Ocean is taking the workstation out for a spin to see what the limits are in terms of scenes it can render.

He shared details about one huge scene that I doubt more than a handful out of the thousands of AVN creators have attempted.

This is the first time Ocean has mentioned a scene this size in the 4+ years I've been following him and, from what I've seen of his work - he can optimize his scenes just fine.

He just got a Ferrari of a workstation - OC he is going to see how it handles the track and the curves!

This is another trick to drag out development time, for example, DPC dragged out time by making animation at 60 FPS.

Are you seriously talking about good optimization of Ocean? Your words sound more like trolling or a stupid joke. It is shocking when you watch a video of an ordinary guy from the Internet, making his renders on an old 1080ti no worse than Ocean on his workstation and at the same time much faster. After watching such videos, his fans begin to have questions, what is wrong with Ocean and his workstation, which should be 10 times faster than 1080ti? And then Ocean is surprised why no one believes him.

Yeah sure, great to waste time "testing the limits" when it is not necessary and would just delay development. He will spend a week to finish a couple of renders of 40 models in them. Next update gonna have 3k-4k renders all done on 3 scenes that barely advances the plot like last update lol.
