The way I read it, is you provided an action you didn't like, and then the conclusion you arrive at, so sorry if they were disconnected. It seemed to me that you were showing proof of why you think Mila is cowardly or self righteous. The way our conversation developed, it seemed like you particularly disliked the way Mila treats Bella. So then, if we ignore Bella, why do you think Mila is cowardly? What makes you feel she is exeptionally more bigoted than say Vanessa with her beliefs about men? I'm really arguing against the double standard you're appearing to judge her by. She's not worse than any of them, and she's tried to be a positive friend, tried to get Nika to open up.
And it's Trey. I'd go as far as saying he's at least more comic relief than anyone but Nami. Probably hotter than the seahorse, even if I'm not inclined to either of those ways.
What im talking about is, that yes, she did this to bella but it could have been everyone else in the story or a random noname. Bella's character and behavior doesnt play a role when i judge Mila's behavior in this event. Thats what i meant with it could have been Trey (or whoever). It could have even been a character i hate and i would still dislike this behavior.
Yes i perceive Mila as partially self righteous, with cowardly i was talking about her talking bad about bella behind her back (again could have been anyone else with the same backstory) and that she only did this out of a rejected friendship and nothing else. Talking shit behind someones back for such a reason is cowarldy behavior (imo).
And its less about "proof", im not on a conquest to convince anyone that mila sucks (im honestly kinda neutral about her, i dont mind her as a friend i just dont like her either lol), its just that i strongly dislike this kind of behavior - and by the way i think Mila herself feels shitty about her behavior too which is at least something redeeming. I was just curious what people like about her character.
It would be entirely different if she did this because bella bullied her a lot or did crazy fucked up stuff to her or her friends but she admits that bella kinda did nothing to her other than occasionally calling her poor.
And hey, its okay do dislike bella for her behavior too if thats important for you to aknowledge.
Now youre starting to lose me when you try to compare the bigotry levels of mila and vanessa -which is again trying to make mila less worse with comparing her with other characters with issues which doesnt really make mila more likeable - Vanessa is more like the opposite and a crazy pervert.
And Vanessa is way more gaga than Mila is bigot, i give you that, but how does aknowleding that helps our discussion?
She tries to be a friend even when youre not interested in her is a valid point tho, its just not enough for me to really tip the scales.
I mean, that last sentence isn't a challenge right?

I'd say Bella deserves to be in prison more than Mila does.
Sure, Mila doesnt deserve to be in prison at all. Just because im not fond of her, i dont want her to end up in prison for doing nothing wrong lol.
By the way, my guess about the whole Bella/Mila thing and unrelated to everything above:
I suspect Bella saw in Mila a possible "substitute sister" and her sister was in coma already. Bella was looking for someone else to trust and thought maybe Mila could potentially be it. I think thats why Bella is so bitter and unforgiving towards Mila like she barely aknowledges her existance. It made the betrayal in bella's perception way bigger than in Mila's as they were just little kids.
But i think the trust issues bella mentions ("if trust gets broken once, its over") and her envy/admiration for for Nika/Nami's sibling(

) loyality are partially related to Mila too. It was just a way bigger deal for bella than for mila who kinda just tried to not get bullied for once but than still did the right thing. But for bella it was already too late, trust was already broken and the relationship over.
I feel like a big Bella/Mila reconcilation/team-up is ineviteable lol
