This isnt about this comment im just at the bottom of reading this back and forth. But correct me if im wrong, your main issue with Mila outside appearence is her distain towards Bella after stepping up to bullying that she was kinda apart of, then getting rejected by Bella after the fact. As well as talking behind someones back. I can agree that "being two-faced" or talking behinds someone back isnt a good quality and i can agree with you there, although mostly ever character has done it in some shape or form. But, im just going to speculate that Milas distain from Bella isnt just the core of the rejection, because although she has has that petty hatred from Bella from that moment, i assume it just built as Bella transitioned from being bullied to the stone cold bitch she it now, kind of just fueling Milas hate for her everyday without ever really interacting. And I agree if they actually talked it out and probably will theyll squash it. Yeah i agree with a lot. I could even fully understand Mila disliking bella over all of this, even simply about the rejection, thats fine. But this "Shes a sick pyscho, who just wants to hurt other people" blabla while conveniently leaving out your own part and relation to the backstory, painting the worst picture without any need to do so (or out of jealousy already?) ... i just cant stand it.
Fueling Mila's "hate" simply by bella doing her own thing (being a cold hearted bitch lol) entirely unrelated to mila (why would mila give a fuck?) wouldnt be the most likeable trait either tho
Anyway there is no need to "prove" shes likeable, she can simply be likeable for people without reason or for whatever reasons, i was merely curious what exactly people like about her other than her looks, this wasnt meant as a big discussion as why anyone should be "allowed" to like her or whatever

Ah, it's no big one, it's just that if we're going to call Mila bigoted (in what way?) there's characters exhibiting far more bigotry. Vanessa has a systematic and unreasonable prejudice against men. Bella has a continuous desire to mock people for poverty. Stahl? What WASN'T he bigoted about ...oh, right that was befor the rework too my bad.
It's no big deal, it simply feels like you're overhyping Mila's negatives, simply because you don't like her character. No one in the gam is a saint except Vic and Sonya ...and maybe even then, Sonya's only acting innocent to avoid notice, like she does at home (nah I think she's transparently nice, but Ocean will hit us with some kind of trauma about her).
Yes, given the anime inspiration, the whole team will assemble at some point. That's at least something we can guess. Nika's already pinned that little sister option for Vic though. It's be interesting to see how Ocean's themes of healing play out for all the different characters - If you're not on their path, will they get better, find closure solve their drama indepedently of Nika? Will the whole possedo this? We kind of see with Sonya that some of her issues will be dealt with by affirmation, but I'm sure ther are path specific revals and actions that will show more detail - so I guess I'm wondering, if you're not on someone's path, will they sort their own shit out anyway?By the way, my guess about the whole Bella/Mila thing and unrelated to everything above:
I suspect Bella saw in Mila a possible "substitute sister" and her sister was in coma already. Bella was looking for someone else to trust and thought maybe Mila could potentially be it. I think thats why Bella is so bitter and unforgiving towards Mila like she barely aknowledges her existance. It made the betrayal in bella's perception way bigger than in Mila's as they were just little kids.
But i think the trust issues bella mentions ("if trust gets broken once, its over") and her envy/admiration for for Nika/Nami's sibling(
I feel like a big Bella/Mila reconcilation/team-up is ineviteable lol

Don't get me wrong. Characters like Bella, Vanessa and Kate are great for the story in my opinion, they make it messy and risky. Bella's just got too much screen time; once we've got all of them on equal footing I'll probably learn things about Nami that make me dislike her. The focus has been pretty one sided in the story, and Bella's a polarising character. Pretending she's an angel is the same as pretending Leia isn't pimping out her employees in Wiab (and who knows, maybe still in SG with the gentleman's club).

Not going to happen. Remember that it's not a dating sim. Some characters will be more present than other, even if you don't date them, you'll have to interact with them. And don't get me wrong, I want to get to know the other girls, especially the LI who have yet to be introduced. But Bella is Bella, and she's popular for a reason.
For Nami, well, we know a bit. She's jealous, vain and manipulative. She doesn't hesitate to manipuate MC when he starts to get comfy with other girls, tell him to "slow down". Not only that, but she uses Summer's haircut when they go to the lake, and ocean confirmed in the discord this was not innocent and there's more to it.
MC also confirmed Nami was not nice in high school.
Manipulating a friend in a fragile mental state is a shit move.
Mila is cute and kind. But she also holds grudges and is a coward. If you are on Bella path, in chapter 4.5, and you chose her to walk outside, she doesn't hesitate to kiss you and get pissed when you reject her, despite the fact that she KNOWS you're with Bella.
Chapter 1 season 2 will be more centered on Zara, we'll see how she develops.
Each of the girls will have something you don't like or some sort of weakness. The theme of the game is healing, so I highly doubt that even characters like Amber or Sasha, who seem strong and grounded, won't have some weird or fucked up shit going on.
After all, Amber, a 40-year-old woman and psychologist who is falling for her client 20-year-old her cadet, is kind of fucked up.
