Don't get me wrong. Characters like Bella, Vanessa and Kate are great for the story in my opinion, they make it messy and risky. Bella's just got too much screen time; once we've got all of them on equal footing I'll probably learn things about Nami that make me dislike her. The focus has been pretty one sided in the story, and Bella's a polarising character. Pretending she's an angel is the same as pretending Leia isn't pimping out her employees in Wiab (and who knows, maybe still in SG with the gentleman's club).

I think the only person who thinks bella is an angel is vidal. Bella is not an angel, she's a fucking bitch with some mental problems but I find her funny. To be honest I prefer ayua and I've waited 5 years for that fucking training session.

Not going to happen. Remember that it's not a dating sim. Some characters will be more present than other, even if you don't date them, you'll have to interact with them. And don't get me wrong, I want to get to know the other girls, especially the LI who have yet to be introduced. But Bella is Bella, and she's popular for a reason.
For Nami, well, we know a bit. She's jealous, vain and manipulative. She doesn't hesitate to manipuate MC when he starts to get comfy with other girls, tell him to "slow down". Not only that, but she uses Summer's haircut when they go to the lake, and ocean confirmed in the discord this was not innocent and there's more to it.
MC also confirmed Nami was not nice in high school.
Manipulating a friend in a fragile mental state is a shit move.
Mila is cute and kind. But she also holds grudges and is a coward. If you are on Bella path, in chapter 4.5, and you chose her to walk outside, she doesn't hesitate to kiss you and get pissed when you reject her, despite the fact that she KNOWS you're with Bella.
Chapter 1 season 2 will be more centered on Zara, we'll see how she develops.
Each of the girls will have something you don't like or some sort of weakness. The theme of the game is healing, so I highly doubt that even characters like Amber or Sasha, who seem strong and grounded, won't have some weird or fucked up shit going on.
After all, Amber, a 40-year-old woman and psychologist who is falling for her client 20-year-old her cadet, is kind of fucked up.

unbelievable that it has been around 3 years since i first played this. and with the reworks etc. the game has not moved an inch in story since the first time i played it.

Of course - I get that. I'm not after it for a dating sim. And I get that Nami has skeletons in her closet too. I don't get why it's controversial to dislike Bella when someone else dislikes Mila, or call Bella a criminal, when she clearly is. These statements are anti-dating sim and about the story. Did Bella do criminal things, repeatedly? Yes or no? Calling a spade a spade isn't dislike of the role the character plays in the story.
Ocean says it's not a dating sim, then acts like a pimp on discord saying how much he loves character X because they're his current fav (probably because he's rendering a scene they're in). I mean, damn, I want to know Marla's story as well, even if she's only moderatly more attractive than Jeff or Dwight, or Siegbert. She's there for a reason, not just because Ocean wants young and old content. I'm more interested what the story holds than I'm interested in the LI branching. But the branching is there and part of the game, so by nature it's both canon story and LI paths.
THe forced interactions with Bella I can deal with, because that's the story. It doesn't change who she is or sanctify her actions. Currently I see her and NIka as Mickey and Mallery. Waiting for Ceril to imprison them so Nika can shave his anime hair, and then they can go roadtripping to the cabin in a weird timewarp, with Bella the new Summer. Actually, that'd be a hell of a way to ressurect the dark path

People dislike her for being a criminal, is kinda weak. First, If she's a criminal, so are MC and Ayua. And strangely, I don't see people talking shit about Ayua for being in illegal races.
Concerning the holgelsons, I don't really care that much either, and Bella even give us the $10,000 bucks. And frankly, the fact that they accuse Mila of what Bella and MC did just show they are huge grade A assholes that deserve what's coming to them.
As for Ocean, he can like whoever he wants. It's not like it's influencing people. Bella, for example, was never his top girl (iirc).
You are free to call on Bella's bullshit the same way people are free to call Mila a coward, Nami a manipulative bitch or Vic a naive creep.

Ocean's made it pretty clear that Nami was a crazy bitch back in HS, before whatever incident landed MC near death in the hospital. That changed their relationship completely. She's still crazy, obviously...

Yep, not that far a stretch, he also mentions that she's partly to blame for how he became after Summer disappeared. Maybe Nami blamed him for what happened to Summer at his most vulnerable moment and it affected him that way. Maybe something else... Who knows, until the game is completed, Ocean can insert anything there, too much room for interpretation.

And remember people are saying they look for august for the update S2 Chapter 1 so that will be a total of 1 year and 8 months of nothing. think about that number the last time there was anything from Ocean it was the Steam release of S1.but if i'm being honest and judgeing Ocean by his habit's and Pattern'ss then I say Winter this year but I will not be Surpised if we get nothing this year at all but more and more excuses. and Ocean taking out another Loan to buy some other bullshit workstation for putting out renders 5 secs faster.

Possibly some kind of Summer roleplay moment that got out of hand? Remember Nika mentioning he saw Summer once more after the cabin. I certainly thought her choosing summer's hairstyle at the lake was a weird red(head) flag. There's certainly a lot of her emulating Summer and then trying to outdo her.
At very least whatever Nami's deal is, is one of the many mysteries we're going to find out, hopefully at the next therapy session.

You're into something. If Nami became more aggressive after summer's disappearance, knowing she's manipulative and insecure, she could've done something to try to make MC jealous, or even riling him up for him to react. And a reaction she got, the supposed incident.

If you don't go on the heist at the Holgersons, you get a scene with Nami, and she talks about Nika not needing another charge.

So given that he has a clean record later when Ceril puts him in the database either the charge was dropped or he has guardian angels editing his record. But charge doesn't assume conviction, my theory is that he got charged with abducting Summer by her parents, or he got charged for the fight in the violent incident - he might have a punctured lung, but who knows what anyone else got if it was a fight?
Plenty of potential scenarios. But I think the charge might have ended with a form of home detention with some sort of bond - maybe that's why Noji is poor, and why Jenna says Noji maybe did the right thing?
That'd tie up a lot of loose ends simply though, so it's probably not right
